Turning to your gathering grounds you decide to venture into the murky depths of the shadow flight hoping to seek some long lost treasures. Upon your arrival you are greeted with a choice of three paths each fortified by their own unique door.
Barring your way to the path on the left is Door No. 1, a large imposing dark oak door with engraved runes and deep red ivy climbing its way up to the handle. This door allows no sound to pass it and despite your best efforts you can hear nought but your own breathing...
Turning from the first path you glance at the path in the middle guarded by Door No. 2. This door has no ornate features nor does it look particularly strong (a good kick ought to be enough you think to yourself); charred black this door appears to have suffered the fate of time and is slowly rotting away. As you approach you hear a softly whistled tune coming from beyond the door, curiosity takes you one step forward...
Through sheer will power you wrench yourself from the singing door and hurry over to the final path on the right. Door No. 3 (if you could call it such) is nothing more than a solid wall of deep purple fog. You lean in hoping for a glimpse of the path beyond but the fog is dense and spans a large area. Should you enter there is a chance you may never find your way back...
And so your time to choose has come, the day nears its end and there is still gathering to be done. To which door do you trust your fate...

And so your fate has been decided...
@Velsim
As you thrust your weight against the heavy oak door it gives too with a creak. As you step inside you learn the paths unusual secret; someone, or something, has been conducting experiments delving into the dark arts and attempting to combine science with magic. Intrigued by the potential you gather up the equipment and hurry home to begin your tests...

With a firm kick the old and decrepit door splinters and falls. The truth behind the enticing music is laid bare as you discover a disciple of witchcraft chanting soft spells...

@Micolash
You take a tentative step into the fog and instantly your vision fails you. Stumbling blindly, arms outstretched, you fall forward...and into a small murky clearing. Sat before you with a puzzled look is a young nocturne, its colours and genes match those of the surrounding gloom and should it sit still it would be lost amongst it. With an offering of food the dragon accepts you and with its lead you traverse the blinding fog and return safely home...

The first door is shrouded in mist, making it difficult for you to see what defines it from the others. The mist is deep purple, almost unnatural, and offers the repulsive scent of rotting meat. It is practically hanging from the hinges.
The second door is absolutely tiny, so small that you have to get on your hands and knees just to push it open. It is painted a soft pink, surrounded in overgrown flora; looks like it had been simply forgotten.
The third door is blatantly ancient, thick and engraved with all kinds of beautiful filigree. It has a huge lock barring the center, though as you take a closer look you find it is broken.

@ALostGoldfish as you push it open, a swift gust of wind catches you off guard. As it clears, you see before you three small creatures, all together in a huddled heap. The Timber Tender looks up at you, then nudges its companions awake.

@CookieMayhem1308 the door practically dissipates beneath your fingertips as you reach out to push it open. Falling away, a sharp snarl greets you along with the sight of a dragons hide. He is covered in soot and purple matter, and he seems quite displeased that you interrupted his feast.

@Stormheart208 the door takes quite a lot of effort to barge open, but eventually it gives way, and you stumble upon a rather spongy floor. A few spiders scuttle away from you as you recover, and after rubbing your eyes you find a couple of skins on the floor.
