I have some exciting news to share. Recently, Impception contacted me about an idea for a family tree project he'd had, one that ties in closely to this thread. He asked me to announce it over here, and I'm excited to do so! Two hatchlings were recently born to Night Warrior parents, but due to their light coloration, were unable to lay claim to their family heritage. Together, they decided to establish a family line, the Bródúil Caomhnóirí, where dragons like them would be welcomed. Just as their darker cousins protect their home clans from the shadows, the dragons of the Bródúil Caomhnóirí watch over it by day. The Bródúil Caomhnóirí works much like the Night Warrior Project - dragons from this family tree are descended from the tree's two founders and are given a generation number showing how closely related to the founders they are. Dragons must be leveled to Level 20 before they can be registered, but the dragons of the Bródúil Caomhnóirí must be light in color! Whites, light grays, pale lavenders, dusty golds - all are acceptable. The Night Warrior thread will also benefit from affiliating with this project! Every so often, dragons hatch in the Night Warrior family whose primary and/or secondary are too light to allow them to qualify for membership in the Night Warrior family. But from now on, dragons who are too light to be registered as Night Warriors may be trained to Level 25 and registered as honorary members of the Bródúil Caomhnóirí! In a similar vein, dark-colored hatchlings born to the Bródúil Caomhnóirí will be able to register as Night Warriors if trained to Level 25.
