So, undertides are one of the many ancients I haven't managed to properly collect yet. Partly because I have difficulty thinking of roles for them, what with their unique body plan. It's strange to think of a flying eel as say, a warrior or a gardener, but it also feels odd to relegate them to "feral creature" status.
So, please show me your undertide with lore roles and tell me about 'em! Big bonus points for fancy UMAs, I need proof these guys aren't destined to forever look naked and unfinished.

huh. this is making me realize I have only two undertides with lore, and one of them really is a "here be monsters" sea monster

tidepool doesnt have a ton of lore cause he's my ancient water rep, but they're a diplomat and representative for the tidelord who manages relationships with water clans. he's essentially a local politician/priest who also a part time lifeguard, so ig he's not super nonconformist for an undertide

Izanami is the head/leader of all the other workers. She tells them what to do, what needs to be done daily so the onsen/hot springs and the services they provide continue to be the best in the land. Also, due to her being an Undertide, she is naturally in-tune to the water and can easily create new hot spring spots by... Literally digging into the sand/ground ghgfdfg
She moves on the ground in a very snake-like way, and uses her fins/wings mostly like a Japanese fan to hide her face/express herself rather than for movement.

My other boy, Aglaophonos, is a siren! He uses his singing to lure people to the onsen (so they are forced to use the services provided, since they came all the way here... *cough cough*), but also keep them happy and relaxed while they take their dips!
He's also a little bit venomous, like his colors and status as a Plague-flight dragon imply, so he's EXTREMELY careful with his movements while he works around the hot springs/bathhouse.
Absolutely obsessed with fruit. Makes some KILLER fruit platters but he has some INSANE internal battles with himself not to devour it all before they get to the clients. Can utterly decimate a basket of cantaloupes in the blink of an eye.[/center]
