In the Ashfall Waste, near the border with the Shifting Expanse lies a canyon. Golden stone veined with greys, browns, reds and purples line the walls. A wide, deep and slow river winds along the bottom, lined on either side by large banks with cool forests and small meadows. A half day’s flight to the north takes you to the Sea of a Thousand Currents. To the south, to where the river begins, lie Shade-tainted beastclans bent on securing the largest, and only, freshwater source in three days flight distance. Above the river in the canyon walls are caves. Some lead to treasures beyond imagining. Some are humble caves, fit only for the lizards and snakes. Others are part of a large mine, interconnected tunnels, work areas and a grand amphitheater. And then some few are homes. Living there is a growing clan, warriors and crafters. Welcome to Brightspark, where the fireworks that light up Sornieth’s nights are mined and made!
