Style of execution, is what! While these Nocturnes utilize their natural creativity to different means, each deeply appreciates the polar perspective the other brings. They're both able to pull new ideas from one another in an electric way, and new projects towards each of their respective trades are made the better for it. This is the oldest couple in the clan. Neither of them take themselves too seriously and are quick to come up with fun things to do to stave off boredom. Rest is for the dead! They're the strangest pair in my lair, but I love them both dearly.

[b]Day 7: Mates[/b] So many pairs to choose from, but I'm going with my disaster gays Solstice and Horizon! [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/33808990][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/338090/33808990_350.png[/img][/url] Solstice is one of the clan's priests under Oracle. He and Horizon became fast friends when the latter came to the clan and for a long time they remind just that, best friends. Yup, just friends. Well, I mean, yeah Solstice found himself thinking how cute Horizon is and confided in him about every little thing and- oh...was he falling in love? (Narrator: yes, yes he was) [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/36067695][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/360677/36067695_350.png[/img][/url] Meanwhile, Horizon realized his feelings for Solstice early on, but had resigned himself to have a one sided attraction because he couldn't tell if Solstice was interested in him. Horizon finally mustered up the courage to confess after receiving a pep talk by (of all people) the students he taught because they got tired of how mopey he was. The two ended up confessing at the same time and have been enjoying the bliss that comes with being together. As a sidenote, their relationship and the journey it took for Solstice to realize his feelings was (and still is) a source of entertainment for his siblings.

Oro and Sol are mates! I do also breed them together onsite a lot. It’s become a running joke now between me and a friend about “Sols kids” and it’s a personal silly little lineage of sorts I guess :) But lorewise - Oro fell first! She didn’t mean to get attached, especially not to a stuck up pearlcatcher…but she did. And ever since, the two have been inseparable! He was named Ice because that is his element, and that year I named all my B'day hatches with their Element. But I will never not find it funny when he is in the Kelp Beds, and gets frozen. Because Ice is Frozen and cannot move. I feel he would be very bad at ice skating, unless he was frozen first, and punted along like a fluffy ice puck. I do not remember why she was named Yule, I really don't. It does fit her, though, in my opinion, which is why I never changed it, despite my many years of bewilderment haha. [center][Size=5][b]December 8[/b][/size] Honoring Our Elders ------------ The holiday season has a large focus on children, but lets not leave out our elders. Share one dragon who you consider an elder. Talk about them, their journey, their life etc, or how they influenced a youngster. It was actually her birthday 2 days ago and she turned 11! She's the career advisor for the clan, and due to her old age she knows about a lot of jobs. She's been here helping the clan for years, but even for years before that she traveled around Sornieth encountering all types of jobs she never knew about. Now she analyzes dragons and comes up with a job they can do based on their skills and personalities. In my clan, jobs aren't really jobs like working to live and being unhappy... It's more like a life calling that brings one joy and provides daily enrichment. So that means even hatchlings have jobs in my clan... He was my birthday hatch this year. Xen helped him find a job he can do, and that was by transforming his destructive habit of eating paper into something legitimate. [center][b]Day 08[/b] [i]Honouring Our Elders[/i][/center] [columns]While Oxidise isn't [i]actually[/i] the eldest dragon in the Clan, she often receives the honour of being believed to be. This is because her entire physical appearance is 'rusty'. She creaks when she moves with a rusty ringing sound, and her entire body is covered in green growth - there are even a couple of birds nesting in her spines!
