I was inspired by all the winter solstice hatches and decided, against my better judgement, to hatch my singular noc egg

Honestly, he's not too bad. As mentioned, he's got a sort of plant-themed look - he's even got some Christmas colors going on.
I tried him with Cherub/Marbled/Sparkle (Sparkle makes a nice tertiary saver).

A lot of linebreaking Ancient tertiaries help with hard-to-work-with colors. Carnivore is a favorite of mine for exactly this purpose! Here he is as an Aberration with Harlequin/Spade/Carnivore:

Paradise is one I've used (and seen people use) for difficult tertiaries, too! It helps that Paradise has some accent colors brought in. Auraboa with Mochlus/Weaver/Paradise:
