Every festival theme share I feel is incomplete without once again sharing my dragon of matching element hatched during that very first festival. I never actually thought I’d get a Light dragon from that very first festival, but with the help of the afamiliars adopt group, I did. Bonus: They have extra sentimental importance to me with layers of symbolism therein.

I feel equally compelled every BSJ to share my clan’s patron spirit, named after a Nordic goddess of good fortune. She was my very first auction purchase way back when and gets treated to art on the regular, [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/70254739]her own dragon guard[/url], and a glimmer to replace her underbelly back in that first year.
She is one of my few dragons with a filled in and polished bio. As such, she also has a [b]butterfly badge to collect[/b] to celebrate that. All you have to do is visit her, [b]light up her star, and keep the butterfly credit-linked to her[/b] wherever you use it.

And one of my newer additions. No badge to collect yet (that doesn’t happen until I have time after their 100 stars lit milestone). I actually spent a few years trying to breed this dragon up with the perfect colours! A few months of that was spent trying to get a hatch-date I liked better AND a version who at least had bee wings and runes, but I got impatient, had the funds, and ended up just going with this earlier hatch I had to completely gene up. No regrets though.
I do feel like Makaris embodies both sides of the Light: Sunny and gold with a spooky/scholarly mix of darker colours. We are both sunbeam and hewn ruins.
