Biography
COFFEE FARMER
>is a fairly rich individual
>got his riches by selling exquisite "desert coffee"
>had always had curiosities, wanting to learn more about the world around him, hence the reason why he pursued the role of a scribe and historian
>as an adolescent, he set off on a self-discovering journey through the vast deserts, hot, xeric shrublands, woody savannas and lush, wild rainforests of the Expanse's highlands, meeting native tribes, learning their cultures and customs, and scribing extensive libros with newly-found knowledge
>while travelling, he settled with various groups such as nomads, permanent settlers, farmers, hunters and Bushdragons, but only staying for a short while until his journey had to continue
>the pinnacle of his journey was meeting a family of dragons and Beastclan who worked on a big plantation in the tropical lowland forests, where he stayed for a few years, found his meaning and dream, and learned everything he could about growing coffee
>the family was very modest but kind and welcoming
>sadly, the paterfamilias, who became like a father figure to Neper, passed due to an illness
>Neper couldn't live with it and promised himself and the rest of the family that he would make sure that they finally get the prosperity they deserve
>he received a few sacks of coffee beans and travelled back to his city to compile the scrolls and notes he had gathered into an autobiographical field manual called Liber Afruikanus - Tribūs de Terras Aridas
>the book was well-received among the populace, so much so that several scribes transcribed the work and distributed it to interested buyers
>various seeds he managed to gather during his decade of journeying were still well-preserved and viable for planting, so he introduced them to the oasis
>he invested his own funds and convinced the Great Archive to fund the construction of one of the first true botanical gardens of the world, known as Kremastos
