Victim #1: Teru
Teru is cannonically a fallen goddess, and I have a little headcannon that she can turn into any seacreature, so [i]if you think about it hard enough[/i] shes a mermaid.

Azhi is the clans water rep, and in my lore she was born as a creature of the sea (aka mermaid-like thing) but after being found by Teru she was turned into a pearlcatcher. She still regularly visits the sea, and most of her outfit is things she found down there.

Apylsia technically *isn't* a mermaid... but, she lives in an underwater temple, speaks to giant sea serpents, receives visions from the sea, has incredible hair... yup, she's a mermaid! (Fun fact, she's named after the genus of sea slugs called sea hares because her Diaphanous reminded me of rabbit ears)

Yagev is quite the spectacle, based on a semi-aquatic prince. Perhaps more fitted as an Undertide now that I think about it, this watery spiral seems pretty fitting as well. I have some lore for him in the works but never quite managed to finish it... Definitely a tragic character.[/font]

This is Glacey he is actually a deep sea creature but was adopted by a guardian named Pumpkin who took him in as her own kids have grown up and she can't have any more lest she die. Glacey is willing to care for his own kids as he has lost his own parents.
