Always late but never last to the party. Here's Calla. The first dragon I've ever written any lore for and the first for art too. I'll show off the Jasta 11 dragons I have so far since I only have three. Baron is a crazy fast flier and excellent fighter. He's a fan dragon of [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manfred_von_Richthofen]Manfred von Richthofen[/url], better known as the Red Baron. With 80 confirmed kills, Manfred was the leading ace in WWI. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/69291014][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/692911/69291014_350.png[/img][/url] Next is Lothar, originally just as fast as Baron, his wings were shredded in combat, permanently grounding him. Lothar is based on [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lothar_von_Richthofen]Lothar von Richthofen[/url], Manfred's younger brother. He was an ace with half as many victories as Manfred. He survived the war but engine failure on his mail plane took his life in the interwar period. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/80533075][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/805331/80533075_350.png[/img][/url] And lastly is Kurt, the delicate flower. He isn't as fast as Baron and Lothar, but is still very strong and agile. Kurt is based on [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kurt_Wolff_(aviator)]Kurt Wolff[/url], lieutenant of Jasta 11. He was nicknamed 'Delicate Flower' but had scored 33 victories before being shot down in 1917.

First is my avatar dragon Stardust He's very special to me, as he's the only dragon EVER to exist with his colors, and while not seemingly good colors, they work surprisingly well together. He's also currently my dragon with the most art. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/53965210][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/539653/53965210_350.png[/img][/url] Next is James, named after the JWST (James Webb Space Telescope) when I first learned of the production and then the launch of the JWST I was super excited. I'm a huge space nerd, and was eagerly awaiting the first images from JWST. on 6/11/22 the very first image taken by JWST was released, the famous photo of the SMACS 0723 galaxy cluster featuring thousands of galaxies. I quickly searched the AH for dragons hatched on the same day and I found this boy, and he perfectly matched the colors and appearance of the photo. And so I named him James, after the telescope that took the photo. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/79444485][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/794445/79444485_350.png[/img][/url] And last dragon is another JWST dragon. the day after that initial photo taken by JWST more photos were released, one of which was of the Cosmic Cliffs, a section of the Carina Nebula. So again I wanted to search for a dragon hatched on that day July 12th, but I also had a single unhatched egg ready. So I took a chance and hatched it, and was blessed with amazing luck as got the perfect colors for a G1 matching the Carina Nebula's Cosmic Cliffs. So I named this girl Carina, after the Nebula photographed by the JWST. It's been the hardest theme of the week XD. As tough and rough as this dragon's skin may appear, vines have no problem growing and flourishing on it.
