one hatchling walks into the library asking a question, eokal starts a whole mini lesson, other hatchlings listen in and slowly a group forms surrounding her, staring up in awe with childlike wonder in their eyes, completely entrenched in the stories and knowledge the fae ecstatically shares

This is my first time posting in a theme week forum, but I couldn't resist considering I have several dragons that fall perfectly within this theme. This is far from all of them, but they are some of my personal favorites.

He maintains that his seemingly erratic behavior is due to the commands of prophetic dreams and that if he fails on these directions he will be cursed with the worst outcome. Despite his eccentric behavior, he is respected by his apprentice Hadal. [/right]

Much more levelheaded on the surface than his mentor, he also takes it upon himself to assist the clan scribe, Orion. He maps constellation and uses the movement of the stars to chart the best course of action for the clan such as where and when to hunt and gather food. Without his and his master's guidance, the clan would be aimless.[/right]
