 Jadis was born in a mighty lair on the Sundial Terrace to Shaman of the Arcane flight, and Belladonna of the Nature flight, and is the granddaughter of Frost and Hecate. Shaman prefers to spend most of his time alone and roughing it deep in the bush, while Belladonna is his polar opposite, a party girl socialite with a taste for the extravagant.

Naturally, this odd pairing could only be expected to produce odd offspring. Jadis' older brother Silas is no exception to this, so it might come as a bit of a surprise that Jadis is actually fairly well adjusted. She chose to move back to her father's homeland, drawn to Starwood Strand by her father's descriptions of the beautiful trees (there's the Nature influence in her blood).

Jadis is a winemaker, and tends her own vineyard. She also keeps bees, and her honeyed wine is extremely popular in the local taverns. She also has been known to brew mead, but winemaking is her true passion.
