So on my birthday I hatched 2 very... unimpressive dragons.

And I didn't want to get rid of them because... well, I always get attached to birthday hatches. So I kept them in the back of my den for a challenge whenever I had the time to scry them.
Well, several months and a few priority projects later, I could finally invest in them. So I chucked them in the scrying workshop, and--

I am almost 4.5kg poorer, but to me it was worth it. I take XYZ gen1s as a challenge, especially if they look unworkable at a glance, and I can say with confidence that they rock their looks, especially Ilren (the guardian). I never had a dragon that wears a satin tunic as well as she does.

I love all of them! Fantastic work on Pip, Murk is a very underrated colour and I love it being used well, and the accent does wonders to Gargallow's chaotic colours. But I'm especially drawn to Severity, and how you used the pink details in the dried tea to play off his Rose tert!
Oooh, lovely use of teals against golds. At first I hadn't even noticed her primary is Mulberry, but when I did the use of the violet flowerfall made so much sense!
Varuna is wonderful, and I believe I had a similarly difficult time figuring out my own water rep (Navy is a weird blue, man). It all comes down to figuring out which genes do what to each colour and complement whatever you can't make work with the right apparel. Saraswati and Yama also look awesome (the incense mantle is *chef's kiss*)
