Khoja
I had already played a bit with the scrying workshop before hitting a registration window, so had an idea of dragon I wanted, and for some reason was black and sand XYY.
But when I finally registered and got my progens, I inmediately fell out of love for my custom, because my random was so much better to try many genes with in the Scrying workshop! x'D!
Still I've never exalted him, and after a few months when Opal was added to the game I found myself more or less liking how it looked with it and poison, so splooshed poison on him and started saving for an Opal that I never bought in the end... it was my first time reaching a goal of so many gems, I didn't want to spend them! Specially since I wasn't feeling 100% sold on it. Why spend in something that didn't feel perfect?
Anyways, as soon as I started playing I got into the Coliseum and Dominance community of Plague flight, the hype and loyalty to Plaguebringer of this flight is
contagious! And so I picked my first 3 dergs Khoja included and off went into coli training my first team. There in the first few venues I got my first accent, the Augite Protector, and the Augite Protector familiar itself! Gave the familiar to my progen's kids and I liked how the accent looked on Khoja from the very first second, and even more with Poison primary so is like his permanent addition!
As for his apparel, it hasn't changed so much in the last years. Warm colors and browns are my fav colors, and so I like his Desert-wanderer/warrior style he has with his kilt, nomad sash, and silk tunic and scarf. Of course the first Gem Apparel I got ever HAD to be the rusty Cutlasses for him and many more dragons of my clan. Warriors of the Wasteland, yeah!!
Bandages and Birdskull apparel are also a theme and tradition in my clan, so of course he wears them as the leader, although long ago he used the full Birdskull set, it kinda got replaced with the Boneyard Tatters when I decided to purchase some just for the sake of owning them. I truly wasn't intending to have any dragon wear them, but it kinda looked nice on him and so he got to wear it.
As for the Rose and Sly Glance, he has also worn them from week 1! So much time! The idea behind them was "well, if first thought people gets from plague eyes is 'evil', Im'ma make my clan leader a romanticist lover of all". And it has stick so well since then, no reason to change what I love!
The last change he got was fairly recent considering how old is him. When the Veined gene was introduced, I Knew since the first second I saw it that it could mean that all the projects that I was saving with a Meh Opal tert could get a truly matching tert instead, and it was true! Both Veined and Keel look awesome on Khoja, specially matching his accent, but I like the feeling of aged scars that veined gives to him more, so first day it was released, he got it, and he was finally completed!...
At least for now... I gotta reorganize his bio, as he hoards all the badges and trophies from community driven activities in plague and other flights dom battles it kinda got over the character count limit... I've been too lazy to set another dragon to hold and collect the more recent ones a_a
And I'm not even mentioning the art and drawings I've purchased (with FR currency) and made myself for him, I need to eventually show more in his bio too!
