Further explanation on books

The books are recoloured to fit your dragon as well as possible. All book designs have three colours, but that doesn't mean those colours will necessarily match the dragon's primary/secondary/tertiary colour. A triple obsidian dragon with a blue accent and purple clothing will probably get a black/blue/purple book, not a plain black one.

Some dragons have more than three prominent colours (especially ones with genes like Poison, Butterfly or Skink!) We will do our best to make the book resemble the dragon, but we may have to leave some colours out.

Artists may use colours from a dragon's apparel or accent in the book. If you don't want that, be sure to let us know!

If you have very specific ideas about which colours you want to be represented on the book, feel free to mention so in your post! Preferably directly above your dragon image or at the top of your post.

It is possible to base several books on one dragon, or base the books on something else entirely. Different artists may have different things they're comfortable doing, but in general we're a flexible bunch. Just ask!
