I haven't come into contact with brick too much but the one time I have is with this gal:

I think green shades complement brick really well. I think if you bring out the red undertones in brick it can work really well.
I have such a hard time with ginger, I want to like it but it just never goes well :/

I think it’s workable!! When I was doing this combo I was like “dang the colors are so close yet so far to perfect” but I think this combo’s cute!

Although I love that color, I can understand your point of view. Personally I love that color, it's not that easy to make it work but when it does... it looks really nice :D !
Imo its saturated look can work well when it's associated with a dash of neon and/or lighter colors (like cyan, amethyst ect)
It creates a nice contrast, it makes sapphire look way darker and at the same time it makes the colors pop up and feel more harmonious.
Outfits can do a lot to make the color less saturated & out of place too.

Imo It looks muddy, and I die internally everytime I go for a all-purple-ish colored dragon and the hatchling end up with *that* color.
(Like it's between Wisteria and Fog, two beautiful colors... Its existence is a breeding project crime (TwT) </3 )[/center]

I am a fan of browns, and I think it is a really pleasant brown that looks lovely with more naturally-patterned genes, like Morph, Daub, Trail, etc. And the accent color is a lovely deep purple, or warm orange (depending). I think it's very pretty!
