I do have a pair with basic primaries, but as of right now Flavius is my only one with 2 basic genes and absolutely no plans to ever obtain more. (My only triple basics are simply waiting for me to buy genes for them.)

So many of my basic dragons are admittedly ancient and from the days when triple gened dragons were inordinately expensive, but I still love them and have no intentions of changing them. Your new gen 1 girl looks wonderful with all basic! Such a valid gene (or lack of gene) combo.
I've had Sam for 7 years now and she periodically gets new scrys in her bio, but nothing has ever stuck out to me as something she had to have and her apparel and accent complete the look nicely so she'll continue as her triple basic self for the foreseeable future.

Lynn has really good colors but I cannot see her with anything but basic wings and sticking almost any tert would disrupt that look as well so all in all she's staying basic forever.

I feel like the appeal of it has something to do with how when you put a gene on white as a colour, it's usually mixed out with black or grey or some kind of gradient, so for the times when you just want something that's actually white there's no better alternative than basic :0
