Welcome back though!

I 100% get how some people, like you, prefer minimal gear/letting dragon genes shine through. My words about that didn't really mean "she's not to my preferences" so much as "Oh, I hope this person isn't disappointed that I picked a dragon wearing just an accent and nothing else." I understand people who get disappointed about it too, even though I qualify as neither. Dragons wearing nothing at all frequently get stars from me too.

In her case though, minimalist works so very well, it definitely lets someone like me really appreciate how perfectly that accent blends into orca cherub like they're one cohesive image that belongs together.

I probably go over the line on too much clothes sometimes + expensive genes, but I don't mind when other people don't find it attractive. I'm primarily dressing them for me anyway and I enjoy looking at my own dragon garden lol. I have, however, also seen people who turn dragons into what looks like a messy pile of clothes (I've done this to a few dragons in my project folders from time to time - mostly because I was messing around with a single piece I liked but had no one else for and just got to a point where I'm like...well none of this is working and I'm too lazy to remove the clothes right now lol).

As for Elenath, I totally missed that she's a gen 1 and XYX - makes me love her even more now! Lucky! Axel was already on my like list and I thought Laurelin was too, but apparently I missed her. Telperion was borderline but got his star just now in reading their quotes (I'd read Elenath's). Some really poetic-prose quote choices there!

Arrluck def is perfect as is! I totally don't mind him being an honorary orca who gets to keep that accent! Also I just realized I picked two minimalists in your lair and didn't even realize. So definitely glad you don't at all mind :D

I have to go look at this lore you mentioned - I don't always remember to check bios when I'm doing this unless the person I'm returning likes for said something that lets me know they looked at the bio too. Eleneth was an exception because what was written there was short. I at least scroll down to the bio for spotlighted dragons and if it's short or nicely broken up visually or I'm just in the mood to read, I will do so - also I like to check if the spotlight has awesome art too :D

You've made me curious about Khoeli though so I'm gonna skim that real quick instead of doing the work on my plate right now lol. Please don't tell on me? lol

Why did I read this sad beautiful thing...at least they can be together on your lair page and nest babies together? lol Also the bio is simple but beautifully formatted. I didn't even recognize it from the Wolverine movie until I went on a research spree just now. I can't find any evidence though that this particular legend about Kuekuatsu wasn't created for the movie, so if you know otherwise, I'd love a link to read up on. Only found some Innu legends on the Kuekuatsheu that weren't about lonely moons.

Long replies are a thing I sometimes do too so I beyond understand, no need to apologize for spending time with me talking about something you obviously love. I have fairly high empathy so I enjoy interest-based word spills ;) At least when my brain allows me to read them (such as now).

Starcons are something that I generally find pretty but not unique enough to really stand out to me. On this guy, however, it serves as an excellent way to show off his accent and those bright golden colors! He really seems like something special. The new light apparel piece on him blends so well with the accent that I didn't realize it was separate at first. You've combined pieces from different sets so well that I hardly noticed they were different! [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/53121246][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/531213/53121246_350.png[/img][/url] Like #14 I chose this boy because I'm really impressed by how well that accent, which is one of my favorite male SD accents, matches his rainbow wingdrapes!His colors have a nice contrast with the accent and the apparel, that mulberry glimmer is such a nice gene on him, adding a subtle but beautiful glow to his look, the light glowing eyes make everything 10 times better, he's truly stunning!

@Storrie Thanks so much for the stars and compliments! Poor Duke often gets overlooked among the fancier dragons in my lair, so it’s nice to see him get attention again so soon! I can’t take full credit for his look though. He was my first breeding project with a water flight friend’s help to get some precise colours you can barely see lol. The original Duke was given to me by one of my partners who keeps a [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/32003790]copy of him in their lair.[/url] But yeah, basically the genes, half the apparel, and the accent were their idea and I just added to it/bred up specific colours with the help of a water nest (original Duke is in an entirely different friend’s lair now, playing donated Mire hunter lol). Enough about one of my dragons on your list though and on to yours! 39 stars added to your collection [i]maybe[/i] 40. I hit one I’d previously liked at some other point (Severance) and confused my count in the process of having to hit his star button again because I’d already hit it once and I think my brain subtracted him from the total but I’m not entirely sure lol...this is why I don’t say what star I am, counting them is hard enough! Even without though she stands out with her coloration and native aesthetic. Also the bio art <3 Too cute and that recolour of the roc is gorgeous!

Now that I've found my groove/process in this thread, I'm going back to the first few people to count how many stars I gave out for your collections, making sure to lair crawl through (though I think your lair was small enough I did a lair crawl the first time too). I found a few additional in your lair to [emoji=star size=1] and the total count was 37 among your whole collection.

I know you wanted them named the first time around, but that’s probably gonna be a lot of names, so this particular trip through is only to count the [emoji=star size=1] total from both trips: Those listed in the first and the lair crawl I’m about to do now. Found quite a few more to like this time around, pretty sure the final count was 56 stars sprinkled among your collection.

You were the first one I tried to count and lost track at 30, well I liked [i]a whole lot more[/i] than 30 lol. After a handful of extra likes this second trip through, the total number of stars I gave your dragons comes out to a whopping 140 stars sprinkled among your collection (probably about 5 of those were in your gen 1 for sale tab before I realized I’d lair crawled into a sale tab instead of your keepers).
