Roquiri

New name acquired.

Roquiri is a made up name close enough to Rorik I didn't have to reorganize him in any spreadsheets, but with a sound I like better. Part of the name change was because a friend of mine RPs with me with a Rorik who really isn't anything like this dragon. The dragon came with the name. I like how his name contains the word query (sound-wise), giving it a made up meaning of being curious and asking lots of questions (of life in general). Roquiri is the type on a perpetual, never-ending quest to explore and learn about the various corners of Sornieth.

This all leads into social connections. Roquiri meets a lot of diverse individuals in his travels but he often doesn't stick around. This has made it difficult for him to really form anything approaching a relationship with others.

One of the few is his psywurm, Phileas, named for a character from an ancient text about circling the entirety of Sornieth and beyond in just 80 days. The little psywurm is a close adventure companion and loves to curl up and cuddle whenever the pair are still long enough. Sometimes Phileas doesn't even wait and will nap tucked in and curled up securely around Roquiri's gear, or even sometimes the wildclaw himself.

In the last year and a half, however, Roquiri finds himself in the company of Kaiba - another wildclaw who isn't entirely sure who they are and is piecing themself together using peculiar stones with runic designs on them. Each one gives Kaiba a new memory, but not always from the same life. No one else Roquiri has met was able to unlock or even make real use out of these stones, other than as an ancient paper weight.

They met by virtue of Roquiri having one such stone in his possession, given to him by one of his parents. The stones call to Kaiba and Roquiri is both curious to help them uncover more of these memories and growing fond of the other wildclaw enough their largely aimless wandering for adventure has taken on the goals of wherever Kaiba feels pulled next.
