Saying Gafrac was fascinated by machinery is an understatement. He first surrounded himself with found machine pieces, polishing them with great care, then asked Pastel the Clan's stylist to make some wearables out of the best ones.
Gafrac was thrilled by the result, but he felt something was still missing.
And here's when Kimyogar enters the scene.
Kimyogar as a hatchling wanted to join the Sisterhood and learn their magic disciplines, but the Shaman Leader Pearl frowned as it was traditionally reserved to female-gendered dragons. He didn't give up and found
another way.
Ah a hatchling he played with (safe) chemicals, and became a skilled alchemist during his first years of adulthood. What he couldn't do with magic, he did it with science.
He then introduced engineering and constructs to the Clan, soon catching Gafrac's interest among the puzzled stares of the others.
Since they used to live in two different Clan Circles they never had quite the chance to meet before but they slowly became friends while searching new ways to improve Kim's rudimentary technology and plan Gafrac's partial conversion into a cyborg.
Joined by Gyll, the Clan's aspiring tech, they spent months planning their journey, a journey that would've changed their lives forever.
