Sun Runners are dragons that have promised themselves into the Earthshaker’s service in the hopes of achieving his goal to unite the Flights and bring peace back to Sornieth.

Sun Runners use their large, brightly-coloured wings to absorb the constant sunlight of the Shattered Plain, which fortifies them and allows them to go for long periods without physical sustenance. The amount of solar energy they have absorbed can be measured by how brightly the runes along their sides glow. They patrol the empty stretches, guiding lost dragons and Beastclan folk alike, protecting them from starvation and the elements.

Sun Runners can come from any flight and serve any deity, but their goal will always be to protect wanderers of barren lands and fulfill the Earthshaker’s desire to restore peace between the flights.

updated the accepted genes!

@Hwa i’m working on a second pair that will be snapper/plentiful (probably tundra but i might leave the lad a Guardian). there are currently two Sun Runner offspring in my hatchery. i also have a related Veilspun subspecies, Sunmotes (that i really should get approved and added into here, oops). you can see that pair in my hatchery as well.
