It feels wrong to be considered an "author" of adding this to the subspecies (since I did not come up with the original concept, but I believe Raptorkind is no longer active) However, I've been using an unofficial one myself, as it seems fitting to Raptorkind's lore, seeing as Obelisk were also Earthshaker's creation. Likewise, Banescales should also be considered for this subspecies, as they are a fire dragon species (which I assume was created by Flamecaller)
I'm in earth, so I'm not sure if need to submit this elsewhere?
Here's my little bub for fun, though I'm not planning on breeding him (since he's a perma baby and all). I been trying to get a G1 with the right colors for a few years now, and after obelisks got revealed I had to make him that.

In the Pyroclast Geode case, another Earth Flight member tried to reach out Raptorkind by december, (trying to suggest Obelisks as well) but since they are not active anymore, we added the
Obelisks as a variant of the original concept.
As you said, Banescales are also good for this subspecies for lore reasons! And I cannot ignore the beautiful permababy there, it's so beautiful and perfect dang it!

@Allochii Obelisks have been added as an official variant for Pyroclastic Geodes now (and can also have the new Ground primary gene) if you want to classify these guys as such. The faceted eyes look amazing, I might have to steal that idea :O

They're a Lore Subspecies! My pair is currently for Nature, but I'm going to attempt to get pair for every Flight!
