VARIANTS
common bees
Common Bees are the most plentiful of this subspecies. While they aren’t very special compared to their other variants, Common Bees are the ones to usually take jobs around the hives other Drone variants won’t. They own their own shops, some selling things such as art or writing they create. Some Common Bees even take a liking to science or blacksmithing. Common Bees are the most versatile of all the Drone variants

honey bees
Honey Bees, as their name suggests, make the honey that keeps the hives running. They’re not as common as the Common Bees, but there are still many of these types of Drones, since honey is such a needed product for the Drones. Many Drones regard Honey Bees as ‘magical,’ as the honey they make can sometimes have mystical effects. The most common type of honey these Drones make is plain honey. There is no specific name for it. This honey is what Drones mostly eat. It’s sweet taste appeals to most Drones. The second most common type of honey is called ‘Energizer.’ This honey is most often given to the wasps of the hives. It wakes them up and gets them ready for battle. The third type of honey, a little less common, is called ‘Relaxer.’ This honey relaxes Drones’ muscles, makes them calm and tired. It is usually used for aggressive Drones, or Drones that have trouble sleeping. The last honey type is called ‘Remedy.’ This honey is the rarest, though it is also the most sought, as it heals wounds very quickly. Regular Drones cannot obtain this honey, since it is mainly hoarded for the Queen Bees and Wasps.

Fruit Bees
While Honey Bees commonly make edible honey, Fruit Bees are the ones that make the majority of the honey the drones consume. Honey Bee’s edible honey always tastes the same, while Fruit Bee’s honey has a wide variety of flavor, categorized by the different types of Fruit Bees.
Grape Bees are purple in color, producing a purple colored honey that tastes similar to grapes.
Orange Bees, the most similar to all other drones, are a common orange color, and produce a slighter more orange tinted honey that tastes similar to oranges.
Watermelon Bees are a mix of pinks and greens, though they are mostly pink with hints of green. They produce pink honey, often with green swirls, that tastes similar to watermelon.
Blueberry Bees are blue, often being compared to the Blue Common Bees. Many drones theorize that Blueberry Bees came to be when a Blue Common Bee and a Honey Bee had offspring. Blueberry Bees produce blue honey, sometimes with small hints of purple, that tastes similar to blueberries. Last of the categories is a bit more unique, with there being two variants of this type of honey.
Sweet Apple Bees are red in color, and produce a sweet tasting, red honey, while Sour Apple Bees are green in color, and produce a sour tasting, green honey. Both may sport the opposite variant’s color, though it is rare and usually only found in the eyes.
These drones’ honey is the main food source of the hive
( Fruit colors must be paired together. For example, a Fruit Bee could not have a Grape secondary color, and a Watermelon tertiary color )

honey collectors
Honey Collectors are the mail carriers of the hive. They collect the honey that the Honey Bees make and deliver it door to door to whoever orders it. Honey Collectors also deliver news to the hive, and to individual Drones, as well as sometimes other Drone hives in the area. When they are not carrying out their mail duties, they often pick up hobbies like the Common Bees, though, unlike the Common Bees, most Honey Collectors don’t pursue other jobs.

pollen gatherers
Pollen Gatherers, or the ‘Gardeners’ as some Drones like to call them, produce the pollen that goes into the honey Honey Bees make. Pollen Gatherers, while still living in the hive, often live away from other Drones. These parts of the hives where the Pollen Gatherers live are filled with nature. Plants and flowers are abundant wherever these Drones live, thus they live away from other Drones to keep those parts of the hive less cluttered. Pollen Gatherers have a close bond with nature that many other Drones don’t understand, almost all of said Pollen Gatherers have a natural green-thumb. While Pollen Gatherers are the most distant of the Drones, they still feel the need to socialize with other Drones every once and in a while.

wasps
Wasps are the soldiers of the hive. They are born stronger, faster and more agile than all other Drones. Their senses are heightened, and they are often aware of their surroundings, always on the lookout. Wasps also have venom that they are able to affect others with using their larger fangs, longer claws, or the spikes some may possess. Wasps are usually the most aggressive of the Drones, and it is rare to find a Wasp that isn’t a soldier. A lot of Wasps that choose a different path in life are often mocked by other Drones, though there are also many Drones that accept Wasps that choose to be pacifists.

enchanted bees
Enchanted Bees were born imbued with magical energy, gifted powers and abilities no other Bees have, shown on their bodies as glowing, colorful markings. Because of these skills, Enchanted Bees will most likely work closely with Queen Bees, protecting and caring for their hives, but many like to rebel against this idea. Some Enchanted Bees enjoy mundane hive life, while others take up performing arts, showing off their magical skills for entertainment.
There is no conclusion on how Enchanted Bees were made, but many Drones believe the Deities themselves gifted Enchanted Bees their magical skills. Because most believe in this theory, Enchanted Bees are held to a very high standard, often being seen as just below, or even on par, with royalty.
( Enchanted Bees’ Secondary and Tertiary colors determine their element, which influence their magical abilities, and must match. Eyes are encouraged to match their element, but it’s not required! )

queen bees
Queen Bees were given their name, many centuries ago, because of their unique look and natural leadership. Queen Bees are very rare, most being in the same bloodline as one another. They have very rare coloring, colors that no other Drone can ever achieve. They are regarded as royalty, very fitting as they are the ones that run the hive. Queen Bees make the rules, rule over the hive, order around the other Drones. Queen Bees only mate with one another, and it is frowned upon, or completely illegal for some hives, for Queen Bees to have mates that are other Drone variants, though this often leads to disaster, as male Queen Bees are much rarer than their female counterpart, leaving many hives’ Queen Bees to be without an heir to the throne. Since they are so rare, there are only a few Queen Bees per hive.
