Which made it all the more confusing that the Windsinger had once assigned her as an escort for a windblown Arcane clan to return home, the spiral accompanying her thought wryly - Seafoam, the clan of silverbrook's geographer. Chalumeau had chosen to stay with the Arcane clan, though the hyper Wind-born mirror bounced along in the sky, happy at visiting her old home for the sky races. She had decked out in her goggles and aviator gloves, map kit hanging at her side to make sure she didn't get TOO lost even with Seafoam around. Seafoam turned his gaze away for a few seconds, surveying the crowd of dragons, and realized the pink and blue mirror's chatter had disappeared. "Chalumeau?" he said, realizing that she wasn't there; he twisted the end of his tail into a couple of knots. He spotted her signing up for something in the distance and sighed. At least she wasn't lost... zipped after her, only to have her escorted to a floating cloudbank where other dragons were gathered, poised to race. Oh, no. Chalumeau wouldn't even be able to follow the meandering route without getting lost, but it was too late. She ended up crash landing in a meadow out of panic before being able to take off again, lost, covered in flowers, by the time they found her, Seafoam having knotted so badly from anxiety that he was nearly unable to tangle himself for the search. Chalumeau pouted, and asked how close they were to the finish line. "Um, not that far, actually," Seafoam said awkwardly, hoping the mirror wouldn't be too embarrassed. Fortunately, her spirit was indefatigable as ever, and they zoomed off to cross the finish line, sending a storm of flower petals across the winners. (I'd love daily theme pings!)

He is then used to fight against currents and storms, and can easily fly in heavy clouds. He is suited to quick flights, and could be a very good racer!

She's bundled up in a warm coat to ward off the chill of high altitudes, and the enchanted candles provide both warmth and light. She also painted angel wings on her...wings as a good-luck charm, in hopes that these faux wings will bring her extra speed in flight. (I'd like to be added to the daily pinglist, please!)

The mechanical wings that will help get her off the ground unfurls behind her, courtesy of the tinkerers and scientists she is acquainted with. She snaps her goggles on and moves to the starting line.
