Instead of a ruined city or a great refined society, Clan Umbra lives in a massive underground pit beneath brambles in the Tangled Wood, dug out by none other than my progen Antares, here. She's never been one for an organized society, preferring to live with her beloved companions -- who may come, go, and travel as they wish -- in essentially a glorified, massive coven, and their protectors. Their clan's creed has always been to take in any dragon who needs a home -- and those dragons may stay forever, or leave once they're on their feet again. All that matters is they have a safe place to stay when they need it. Antares, though aging and severely ailing, is a wild [s]child[/s] hatchling at heart and will roam on her own (or with her eldest daughter) as much as she is able.[/columns]

This area is the most dangerous in the territory (with the presence of an Emperor), and even the bravest of Umbra's warriors fear treading these grounds. Styx alone lives on these lands, happy to be living among a clan but still preferring to keep her distance.
