@Kalistys You know, I thought your lair looked familiar. I was poking around your dragons and I just couldn't help but feel some major deja vu. It wasn't until it occurred to me to do a search that I found out why-- I'd followed you in the Lazy Edition. First off, Gold Capsule is probably one of the best genes out there. The way it just illuminates the rest of her, I can't get past it. It's gorgeous. And can we talk about how [i]lucky[/i] this dragon is? NOTN gen 1 hatch on Christmas Eve-- with Black and White as her other colors [i]with matching eyes.[/i] I've seen dream dragons like her. She's outfitted perfectly, with a fantastic accent, she's gorgeous and perfect and I can't even imagine having the privilege of a catch like her in my lair. I've never seen it before and now I'm super jealous I don't own it. Still, the moment I clicked on her, I was immediately happy that I did. An earth primal gen 1 double? Good lord, what a magnificent lady. I love that her eyes match the earth halo-- I didn't even know they did. Her lore is short but fulfilling; it wouldn't match to have a frugal dragon with a long, extensive bio lol. She's a treasure. Freya is so well put together and cared for-- the turquoise in her natural colors just pop out so well and bring together not only the NOTN apparel, but the accent too. I love that you even used that accent to help tie in her namesakes. I'm a little sad you can't see the "empty" part of the tertiary because of his skin, but the beautiful icy glow it creates elsewhere is still perfectly paired with the pistachio. And his accent does belong on him-- those wintry greens and blues are so harmonious with his natural colors that it's almost like that skin was made specifically for him. And his lore-- I love evil characters and their motivations. He's gorgeous and perfect. Not going to lie, I went out on a hunt for a similar aesthetic dragon and snapped one up as soon as I could. He's the perfect autumn dragon-- his colors, his accent, his apparel. His bio even has the most beautiful sensory imagery I've read in a long time, and commands my imagination to follow in its wake. I've run out of words to say just how perfected he is without repeating myself, but know that he is one of my favorite dragons I've ever seen. My permas are in the Nesting grounds, Outskirts and in the Hibernal Den. You can skip the Gene Pool, though.

@Silverishness I really love the textural, earthy aesthetic of your entire lair. I see that you've called it the Autumnal Boneyard, and that really seems to encapsulate your aethetic perfectly. It really captures the eerie beauty of growth and decay. He's creepy but lovely. Bustling with life but burning with flame. His colors are mesmerizing in their muted earthiness. I love how so much of his apparel floats or drifts around him, giving him a striking and unique silhouette that really sets him apart from other skydancers. As I look at him I can almost see the smoke rising, the petals and leaves drifting, the flames crackling. He is awesome. Her dark primary is offset so gorgeously by the vividness of her secondary, and both her accent and apparel push this contrast to dazzling levels. She is a dark forest with sunset rays peeking through branches overhead. I also appreciate her tragic backstory! All of her genes feature both colors blending harmoniously with each other, and her apparel and accent only push it even further. She's only wearing three pieces of apparel and yet each of them add so much character and texture to her appearance! I see that her accent is named "flowing" which is exactly the word I would use to describe her appearance overall. That spot of orange on her wings from her accent really looks like an extention of the solar flame cloak! Just looking at the gold highlights and how they overlay the orange-to-violet gradient, it really is a perfect mirror in every way. And the blue flames at the tip of the cloak are mirrored by the candles too! You've really got a brilliant eye for color! Frost demonstrates that perfectly: pinks and purples aren't exactly what you would call "icy" colors but with the silvery-blue apparel and skin, he looks absolutely exquisite and unique!

I'm also really impressed with your layering of the double halo with her primal eyes; the arcane halo prevents the light one and her bright eyes from being lost among the white background <3 The subtle double-toned silks are also gorgeous and bring balance to her colours, they make her look rather refined and elegant. The accent also brings out the best in her white primary and filigree - who knew that filigree could look so delicate and gorgeous? His role as a matchmaker is very well conveyed through the romantic, almost 'classical' look of his outfit. He reminds me of a bustling spice market or a sumptuous courtyard garden on a sunny day, for some reason. The accent's pale colours and pretty owl matches so well with the flowering gladeboroughs and makes her look incredibly soft and gentle, but the autumnal breeze and sepia lace pieces also hint towards a penchant for natural, rustic-type things. She reminds me of...hm, I suppose a romantic rural holiday home, out in the woods with a warm breeze blowing through endless golden wheat fields. Again, lovely appearance of facet here; she looks quite fancy and bejeweled. The accent which makes her looks as if she is unraveling into some sort of skeleton adds a spooky vibe to her already intriguing appearance. His nightshroud and white raven armour give him a sort of "anime antihero" appearance to me >v>;; Especially with how his gene combo seems to give him a sort of 'eyeliner' lol. But on a more serious note, he really is very strong and graceful looking! I can definitely see how he embodies his role well.

The glowing eyes are a great contrast to the rest of her, and the outfit is just fantastic. I really really love her bio, and her art of course. And her theme song is 10/10. And a gen1? oof, im jealous haha. A very nice gene and colour combo that I personally wouldnt mind adding to my own lair! [/columns] [columns]A colour combo that I love, that will never get old. Gold on red. Its a beautiful contrast, and it really makes the gold pop. It really gives her this regal queen sort of look. Deep down, theres a huge part of me still that is just head over heels for light themed dragons. This angel totally fits the bill. I usually never see a dragon with this skin on, and when I do, I never usually like how they look. This one? Totally blown away. I love busy looking dragons, and I didnt really think that peach would go well with a blood red. Thank you a lot for proving me wrong~ I think putting this skin+outfit combo on a different colour combo wouldnt look as good. I wish I had seen these two sooner, cause they probably would have taken a spot each. I think I like the queen just a little more, but they still look just out of this world fantastic. Blue+yellow/gold is a beautiful combo that always reminds me of that old witchy/wizardly aesthetic of the gold moons on the blue background. I love how both of their outfits are similar but not exact. Skydancers always look so regal and amazing, so choosing these two wonders as regal dancers is a 10/10 choice imo.

Sauron is just my kind of dragon - an interesting color scheme, some genes with colorful accents... He's perfect! I especially love his wings, those bright greens and reds are great on him. And it makes his accent looks even cooler. I love the green tips of the spines (?) on his neck, it's very neat. The grasps are a great apparel for a dragon like Sauron, I love how you used two of them to create a slightly darker orange. It's always very nice. He looks very well dressed, even though he is wearing just a few piece of apparel. The way Eryndir looks make so much sense - I feel like every detail about him tells a little story, it's great. I can imagine him running through a forest, looking for plants to grab for his next experiment. I really love how his accent look, those vines are nice details on him. Since his genes are fairly simple, he doesn't look too busy, and his accent and apparel makes him look very interesting. All the different pieces of apparel he is wearing belong to different sets, but they all look very nice together. He wears all kind of greens and browns shades, but they don't clash and look amazing on him. I have a soft spot for bogsneaks and a soft spot for ghost (the gene), so obviously he caught my attention. His accent is a neat idea, that way he has a fake underbelly gene but can still have a real tertiary. Which is great, because Ghost looks lovely on him! It's one of those genes that work better on a clean primary, so the fact that he is Basic is actually pretty nice. And, of course, the little spots of colors Toxin brings is welcome. The dusky rose set looks like it was made for him, too. I really love how elegant he looks. Spirals look so sweet, it's not easy to make them look scary, but I have to say Apollyon could probably be unnerving if you ever met him. It might be the combo of his swirly eyes and wide grin. It might be the curly horns juxtaposed to his actual horns. Anyway, he looks pretty mysterious. I like how the little light ball from his accent matches his wings. And how all the red from his various piece of apparel matches his eyes. He's a very elegant, ableit scary, dragon. Shade looks like she just pranked someone and is ridiculously proud about it. It's the smile, I think. Even if she might be a more sinister character, I can't help but think she's more of a cartoony kind of villain. Might be the fact that she is a snapper, they're so cute. Shade wears her name pretty well - all those shade of dark purple are lovely, and make the golden part of her apparel and tertiary look very shiny and bright. She's sweet, in a spooky kind of way! He's XXX radioactive which is a super common color pallet but the lionfish noxtide smirch is a refreshing change from the general XXX radioactive dragons out there. The apparel is relatively simple but the way you've combined the woodmask and headdress so that just the snoot sticks out is super unique and lovely. The wondrous sweater is appropriate because he does look SO GOOD. 10/10 would eyeburn again. This boy is so soft I really like the genes you gave him, the contour honestly works so well with the Jaguar. The tropical birdskull set looks great on him and I like the slightly darker spot the alchemist tools provide, it keeps him from being single toned. I want to hug him. The XXY is really lovely and I do like that his wings are facet it gives him some shimmer and keeps him from looking dull. I like the bee gened scy in her bio but even as she is she's spectacular. Her armor matches her almost perfectly and the inclusion of the ruthless banner really adds some contrast. Her chocolate peacock is not a color combination I would have envisioned but she looks so good, the brown and blue just make the gold and marigold more vibrant. It was a very good decision to permabab her when you hatched her, I love how vibrant she is. She's only 3 weeks old but she's such a perfect girl I'm sure she'll be in your lair for quite some time. Her XXY is also Ultramarine primary and secondary like the boyo I chose above but it really shows the amount of variety you can achieve with a single color, they look completely different and have completely different color pallets. The beautiful mix of blues and greens makes her blend into a pure forest aesthetic. I absolutely love it. The apparel you put on her looks like it was made for her, only driving home the point that she's a creature of the woods. I also love the fact that while she has a very heavy forest aesthetic, its dark and spooky enough to make it clear that she's a Shadow dragon, rather than a Nature one. Overall she's stunning and I love her. But she won't let herself get dragged down like that! She'll pick up the pieces, put herself back together, and grab her future in her claws! I have a huuuuuuge soft spot for eyeburners, and this lady here has hit it perfectly. Just her colors alone likely wouldn't have warranted being put on the list if I'm going to be honest. But add the accent you have on her as well as the cleverly placed pieces of apparel, and she suddenly skyrockets to one of my favorite dragons in your lair. I can't really explain why, I just love how the cyan of the skin clashes against the rest of her colors, giving it such a stark contrast that the eye can't help but be drawn to her. Her colors are slightly muted, especially coming off off the eyeburner from before. I love it though, the way the gold shines against her Obsidian primary is beautiful, it makes the Firefly pop especially well, and coupled with the Constellation on her wings its hard to tell where her Tertiary ends and her Secondary starts. If that weren't enough, the apparel you've given her accents her colors even more, adding more little gold touches to help tie the whole design together. The way Garnet Starmap and Crimson Constellation bleed together like they're the same color. How the Metals Filigree pops against his colors, making it look more like an accent than a gene. Those stunning Light Rare eyes that seem to match his Tertiary [i]just[/i] right... Honestly, what is not to love about this little rascal? You can't go wrong with obsidian and red as a color scheme! I like the bits of sylvan apparel that soften him, male ridgebacks are so pointy and fierce looking. Cherub is still one of my favorite genes - I love how it gives him those rings on his nose! The armor really looks well balanced on the guardian body rather than overwhelming it. That accent is an interesting choice and I love how it gives them so many blue-ish textures and colors. Overall he definitely looks like an accomplished protector! Gembond is an underutilized gene and I love it on skydancers. You've even matched the white between his sword and the rags.. wow! I love that she has the ghost gene but it is hidden (buried!) beneath what else is going on , it's very apropos. I'm normally an avoider of male nocturnes, but this old gen 1 with his matching familiar really caught my eye. One of the few differences between Evonyxis and Nox however is that I couldn't possibly even think of putting an outfit together that worked out with all the bright colors she does have (not with a radioactive secondary, at least) 10/10, great sorceress, would hug. Either way, the role of being a mage that specializes in protective magic is a really nice one for her as well. Any where you look, I just feel happy seeing the combination of the greens an purple, it's not a common color combination if you ask me!
