He may not get along well with Gascon, but who doesn't love a little love/hate relationship? Her outfit isn't particularly complicated, but here, it doesn't really need to be. I always forget about the reddish violet in the dusky rose thorn pieces, but here, it really makes the piece pop. I also love how the smoke coming off of the bewitching ruby pieces seem like they're coming off of Eris herself rather than the jewelry, like stardust coming off of a great queen of the cosmos [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=50330984] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/503310/50330984_350.png[/img] [/url] Melphraim is a very different dragon, but just as beautiful nonetheless! He manages to be soft, yet bright and colourful at the same time. The eerie cyan pieces are a lovely, noticeable touch while not being attention grabbing, and the wing ribbons do a lovely job tying the mint noxtide together with the brighter orchid lionfish. Also, always points for good familiar matching, especially when they seem to match in personality as well as colour. He slides right into the bolder and harsher personalities I see the male ridgeback poses are suited for (just look at the halo!). I actually didn't notice the poison obsidian at first because it blended so well with the accent, but now that I see it, it works well. It reminds me of extremely hot molten metal as its being poured. Again, points for familiar matching. Especially if it matches. Like Exigence's poison obsidian, I didn't notice the woodbrace at first, but it works really well with the blues in the starlight guise. I also like how the peacock matches his eyes. When I first saw him, he gave off a sturdy and knowledgeable impression, but also cold, and his eyes are empty like his soul is elsewhere. And it seems like that's a pretty accurate description, given that constant assault by an eldritch abomination would probably come with a few negative side effects, poor lad. And I'm guessing the tome in his lore is the healer's reference in his outfit, which is a nice touch.

The accent is gorgeous as well and the way she's dressed makes her look like a powerful sorceress/queen. Definitely my favorite and I can see why she might be the first in your lair. She is so colorful, yet she is mysterious and beautiful. I love her! she is my favorite dragon from your lair.

As a rarer festival apparel item, it's hard to miss it when a dragon's wearing this apparel item. Either way, it's an item that's somewhat of a swing-and-a-miss depending on how loaded with apparel a dragon already is before you add the Cards to the mix. Bluff has barely any apparel on, but it works extremely well in his favor since it makes the cards (and his accent) the main focus. A strikingly beautiful warrior! Like Bluff, Chandi has minimal apparel, but I love them both for it. Really allows the accent to stand out without being buried beneath apparel or having the apparel distract the viewer's eye away from the accent with busy jewelry-like apparel. Reds are one of my favorite colors and she's basically the kiss of death for me. She's so stunning and I love how she has Iridescent as the primary gene! I can't gush enough about his genes, breed, and - of course - his colors! But I do have to give a special nod to her Cerise Thylacine. Thylacine is one of my favorite genes, but it needs to have good colors/genes to make it work. Bismarck is a stunning example of how Thylacine can shine if it's paired with good genes/colors that allow it to be an accent of sorts; that brings out new color shades or adds a subtle pattern break from the primary/secondary gene/color.[/columns] [columns][nextcol][url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=41556998] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/415570/41556998_350.png[/img] [/url] [nextcol]Oof. Dragons based off or inspired by the seven deadly sins is always a win with me. Greed was the first one that caught my eye cause I love Mirror dragons, especially the female pose. That accent is really really cool and I love how it perfectly matches her Blood Current wings. It just looks so natural. When I looked at her in closer detail, I adored the fact that she has a lot of the older genes and she still looks amazing. Clown is especially one of those genes you rarely see anymore on a dragon and to see it on such a well loved dragon is such a treat![/columns] [columns][nextcol][url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=42033967] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/420340/42033967_350.png[/img] [/url] [nextcol]Another Mirror dragon, another Seven Deadly Sins dragon. What can I say? I have a weakness for these things. Just like for Greed, I love that Wrath has older genes and still looks amazing and quite well-loved. Color-wise, he's pretty dark/washed out, but I like that because it allows the colorful apparel items to really stand out, especially the red ones. The Sanddune Rags are a lovely touch because of how it transforms Wrath's face and because the rags themselves are a satisfying grungy blue contrast to the bright and vivd reds of his hood and bird skull items. Plus, the cleaver. Weapons on dragons are always a win![/columns] -------- Please only pick dragons from the Deep Waters & The Swarm tabs!

It's such an underrated gene. I'd have to say ringmaster is my favorite festival accent ever, I have a dragon of my own that wears it, and Scorpio wears it so perfectly! The navy wraps aren't traditionally what I'd think of as a pretty accessory but the contrasting darkness they help add to her is very good. I honestly never see any dragons wearing the starwood veil and honestly I have no idea why not this girl makes it work so well. You really use the Alloy to great effect when contrasted with her more matte primary and tertiary genes. She's a very good shadow girl and the golden accents just enhance her dark colouring. The white of his outfit and the gold of his accessories compliment each other so well he looks like an angel. Honestly I love the little details like the white socks underneath the seraph anklets, he is so well put together. He's so dark and charming, I've honestly never seen the shoulder guard look classy before but this guy pulls it off. His accent is so good with all his accessories and the summer swelter combined with the candles really gives him a sense of movement. I like the use of the teardrop citrine earrings I find a lot of people overlook them but they are such a nice detail.

The glittery facets of star/con, coupled with his lavish flowery drapery and gold silks, really bring out an element of royalty and stately aloofness (that last part may just be because male Skydancers have always struck me as having the face of a smug aristocrat). Definitely strikes me as some sort of proud sophisticate who knows he's got looks that kill. The accent just gives her that extra ghastly aura. She feels sinister and vampiric, the soulless vessel of some demon if not one herself. I'm a total sucker for the soft flower/pastel aesthetic in spite what my lair may communicate, and Kiupita is 100% the queen of that look. And yet I'm getting some vaguely malevolent vibes from her? She looks like she hails from some alien, potentially cyber-based(?? don't ask) dreamscape realm from where she can glitch into our own at will, subtly spreading chaos and fooling everyone with her tranquil exterior. I love her so much, you have no idea. In the first version of my statement for her, I said that she was "relatively simple as far as decoration goes, with the skin doing most of the work"—until I did a double take and realized [i]wait, that's not part of the skin. That's her genes and colors. She's Wine/Obs/Obs. Oh my God. Holy hell.[/i] Are you sure Ravenhearst printed this skin with other dragons in mind? Because it looks like Vinya was born for it. Her samurai armor is the perfect touch as well, making her look powerful and elegant while also not cluttering her look! Getting demon-slayer/kinda supernatural vigilante vibes from her. I didn't consider her initially because of my usual bias against Runes, but whoa, her colors! You've coordinated everything about her so flawlessly! The accent works wonders here—I've adored this accent ever since I first saw it in the AH, but I don't think any of my dragons are more suited to wear it than Eros here. The gems match her runes and the cyan pendant is practically the same shade as her eyes, it's fantastic! True to form, I can't help but fall for the addition of gold as well. @IdesOfBlood Wow, it was hard to choose only five. You have a lot of excellent dragons that fit right in my aesthetic! I've chosen a lot of female skydancers, but it's because they are THE BEST! She's not my normal go-to-colors, but I really like how the gold, muted purple, and sand works together. Her accent and apparel are cohesive but not too overwhelming - she looks like a regal desert princess. Shadow is an underutilized color and you've done a wonderful job of showcasing it here. I do find myself wondering why she doesn't have a familiar, though! The haunted flame set matches her colors perfectly, and I like that you've brought in some other apparel pieces. And a gen 1? Nice! I love her and I have mixed feelings about her - she reminds me of one of my first dragons, who I exalted within the past year because of a combination of lore and lair-space reasons. Anyway, Corona is a really deep and dark dragon, with her subtle purples and blues all blending together between her genes and apparel. I love the brighter purple in the dusky rose apparel, and how you've made her seem intriguing with the combination of the armor and flowers. A++ use of crackle. The pomegranate apparel looks like it was made for her, and I love how you've used the golden silks to keep her form becoming too one-note.
