@Gabbiani 9/10 I love the colors, eyes and genes! Normally I’m not a fan of Lace, but I actually really like it on this one! I’m not a huge fan of the apparel, but that’s just my personal taste, I know it looks great in other people’s eyes. I know this is an old thread but I want to show Achilles off so im bringing it back. I'll rate both the avatars above. @GuacamacaYT For [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/60685332]Melody[/url] - 8/10. The skin is lovely and the prim and sec are gorgeous. However I'm personally not a fan of yellow on green or that capsule. If it weren't for the tert and the lace waist wrap it'd have a higher ranking. The scene is a nice touch. For [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/58933906]Mendiaris[/url] - 9.5/10. GOD they're GORGEOUS. The specific shade of blue in the noxtide isn't my favorite, but I love how well you've brought all the colours together. The halo, the scene the starsilks, all absolutely exquisite. The wind aesthetic will always have a place in my heart (i may be vacationing in fire but I'm a windie through and through). You have excellent taste in dragons. [rule] Next person, I'd prefer if you judge based on the future outfit plan rather than what they have now. @eternitysgate it's tough to get a perfect ratio of complexity and simplicity, asymmetrical but balanced and so on and so forth, but I think you nailed it. Personally, I really dont like the wings because they look super janky, and I care about proper anatomy dang it! Were it my dragon, I would use white wing silks or star silks, you know the ones. There may be a lore reason behind the decision that i'm not aware of but I'm judging on visuals alone lol. there's enough complexity around the head to lead your eye and create intrigue, and the presences implement some good ol' rule of thirds, ensuring that the whole space you are afforded is appropriately filled without bringing imbalance to the overall look beyond that, I'm a total sucker for phthalo python (and wasp lol) and I love how well the dust capsule enhances those paler secondary colors, and striation aids in this as well, creating a perfectly balanced look between light dark and medium shades which is naturally pleasing to the eye. overall, all colors complement each other in excellent balance, and while i dislike the wings, they are definitely not out of place at all.
