they dun yoinked da mountain and pulled a switcheroo with that sanctum there, welp gotta find a new lair spot

as with all moves: some of them like it while others need a bit more time to settle in

such as their Aquaphobics getting used to the fact that they have a river right at the edge of their territory

And then theres the other half which is all oh heck yeee we got fresh wata fo dayz, no more salt filtering or steam condensing, just dunk your head and drink

[url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/59202864][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/592029/59202864_350.png[/img][/url] stiletto loves to bake. if you need a cake, he will be able to make it. however, he isn't completely sweet; he's solitary and very sarcastic. most dragons can never tell whether he's serious or not. and perhaps that's for the better. stiletto is a type of entity that [REDACTED] in order to stay alive. basically, he must take life force from others in order to prolong his own lifespan. after [DATA EXPUNGED], stiletto gave up on this and has accepted that he will live to a normal amount of years. oh, but that's not all. after an encounter in the shade-touched region of [CORRUPTED], stiletto has brought home a mysterious dragon who goes by the name of poltergeist. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/60526914][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/605270/60526914_350.png[/img][/url] poltergeist was initially annoying. he clung to stiletto wherever he went, and always stole supplies from his kitchen. what stiletto has come to notice, however, is that there is something off about poltergeist. stiletto resolved to investigate this feeling. the pair became very close, and poltergeist eventually developed a massive amount of trust in stiletto. on x/x/xxxxx, stiletto decided to have an honest talk with poltergeist, where the latter revealed a secret. prior to being found in [CORRUPTED], poltergeist remembered "intense feelings of guilt and sorrow for no particular reason." he stated that "it was as though i had done something terrible in another life that is coming back to haunt me." stiletto took note of this, and confessed his own secret. stiletto is able to sense what type of entity a dragon is. there are a number of specified entity types that stiletto has charted over the years, such as shade-touched dragonborn entangled lost stiletto said he believed poltergeist to be "entangled... and lost". "but what does this mean? what does it mean to be entangled? what about lost? what constitutes a dragonborn entity?" poltergeist ceased his barrage of questions; it suddenly all made sense. [CODENAME2] gave him the nickname of koko, which he has allowed the clan to use, mysteriously. poltergeist has an intense fear of koko, which stiletto suspects to be due to his past. stiletto, additionally, believes that [FILE DELETED], and is trying to find a way to reconnect them in a way that won't break the Code. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/65231872][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/652319/65231872_350.png[/img][/url] this is where sparky comes in. sparky is the guardian of time, and he is the one who devised the Code. the Code states that "when a dragon tries to bend time to their own will, they must be sent away from their current timeline into a new one, where they will face trials to show them the wrongness of their actions. they will have no memory of their past, only the emotions that came along with them." stiletto suspects that poltergeist has been subjected to a Trial, wherein the Code's outlined punishments for breaking it are realised. thus, poltergeist must have been involved in [INCIDENT 7], and now he must face the trials yet to come. stiletto has confessed to sparky that he believes the Trial may be unfair. his reasoning is that "there is no sense in punishing one for something they do not remember." sparky has stated that "the entire point of not remembering is so that dragons do not attempt to return to their previous timeline." with this, a dangerous idea is planted in stiletto's head. what if he dug up poltergeist's past and showed it to him? would sparky reconsider the nature of the Trial? would he himself be able to return to [INCIDENT 9]? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i apologise if this is confusing or formatted badly, i haven't written the lore down to such extent before. hope you enjoyed the long read!

She was taken in by Esmeralda as a her ward and when she was urged to heed her Guardian instincts and find her charge, the higher-ups of Crysthall were estatic to find that Mujaid's charge was the castle itself. Years ago, Mujaid had a mate and a child and a grandchild on the way. However, a freak accident caused by her daughter-in-law left Mujaid without her husband and her son. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/64416411]Paragon[/url] fled the Starfall Isles before Mujaid could exact revenge for the death of her family, but this entire ordeal has left Mujaid cold and distant. She has retreated into herself, leaving the rest of Crysthall to scrape by without her guidance.[/columns] [center][b][u]Factions Present At Crysthall[/u][/b][/center] [b]The Arkan Hyleori[/b], represented by Cyllene Runescale, is a cult based upon the worship of the Arcanist - specifically His more sinister magicks... The Hyleori believe that the Great Father blessed his children with many arcane talents and it is a shame to waste their potential focusing merely on the magic that will make the rest of Sornieth society comfortable. The priestesses of the Arkan Hyleori are often found working with members of the Shadow and Plague flights and it is not uncommon for Arkan children to be sired by Shadow or Plague fathers - though sons are often sent back to their fathers once they are hatched unless they show incredible promise. The Arkan Hyleori have ties to the late Lady Cristeaux, and it is rumored that Esmeralda was a mavri magei (a coveted black spell-caster) of the Hyleori before she was a respected member of greater Arcane society. [b]The Gracey Manor[/b] is a large mansion located on the southern end of the Starfall Isles, almost dipping into the territory of the Frigid Floes. Miss Gracey is a widow three times over - rotten luck for a bride - and lives alone for the most part. She frequents the halls of Crysthall because of her attachment to the plush help Squishy, who seems to have a great deal of admiration for the madame of Gracey manor. The other residents of Crysthall find Ophelia creepy and off-putting and Teeka and Hunter outright distrust her because their hunting hounds refuse to go anywhere near her. Mujaid has even caught wind of the rumor that fly about Gracey Manor and has hired an investigator to get to the bottom of all of this... [center][b][u]Other Members of the Crysthall Guest List[/u][/b][/center] Nicolau, the head coupier of the Moonlace Casino. Nico always appears a little off to those who he comes in contact with. The empress and emperor consort of the Reedcleft Ascent, a happily married couple who just adore Mujaid and her family. Sawyer Donkey Sauce (Soy Sauce), princess of Flavortown. Her grandfather, King Flavortown, has always encouraged his descendants to explore the world and Soy Sauce has found no greater joy than eating all those out-of-this-world Arcane delicacies that she can't find back home.

My clan is still very new (been here just over a month, hello!) so I'm keen to see how it grows and love reading others stories. [i]The Clan itself is small, situated away from the hustle and bustle of the world. The lands of these dragons are not covered by a mere frost. The numbing cold nights build dragons as sturdy as their surroundings. The ice might not seem the most welcoming, there is a hidden beauty. Those who stay long enough, might warm and see for themselves. Hidden away from cities and crowds, the stars are bright. Crystals in the sky, out of reach for the common dragon, and yet they still give comfort and guidance to those who are lost. The rural and out of the way location of the lair makes for the perfect ground for dragons with powerful magic that they might not always be able to control perfectly. Or those who wish to forget, take a breather and start anew.[/i] The matriarch is a stern leader, she lit the first fire and dug deep into the cavern they found. She is one who doesn't flower her words - to the point is what was needed. The leader knew what dragons had potential and pushes hard on those individuals. Sometimes a little too hard. Her first mate was a dragon as blue as the sky, the two were the first pair to explore the area that the clan had settled. As any small clan, it was known that scarifies were needed. The first were her children, sent off to find a home in return for treasure. She never heard anything of them after that, rumours of them going to serve the Windsinger. A dragon that appeared to be crafted from pure ice, she blended in so well with the surroundings she was almost never spotted - possibly that is how the hatchling managed to sneak up on the clan and settled herself at it's fire. Rainstorm could see the young dragon had an affinity to ice magic, but was too unconfident in herself to fully tap into her potential. She was sent on some rather harsh missions as a way to bring out the inner power; even though it was difficult she returned every time, even if some of those missions had left her with scars. This paved the way for her to become to clans' messenger and escort, shift and nibble able to make her way through the clouds (and possibly the most friendly Ice born dragon of the clan) she is in charge of contact with the wider world. Bringing items for trade, or even escorting hatchlings to their new homes. A traveling performer, while he officially rests at the clan, the Skydancer is one of the few that travel the world. He earns coin and sometimes spreads mystical stories of the clan with his artistic shadow magic. Demetria and Calx meet occasionally on her errands, she often nags the male to return home for a bit longer, but the world is so bright and exciting. He often refuses, not wishing to get too close to his clanmates, his mind always returns to the home he had lost and the family who had demised. (Not that he'd let anyone know that behind his smile and sweet songs.)
