I shared once that the way Pearlcatcher pearls can work(headcanon) is that they can be different colors, shapes, and patterns. Haven't drawn any yet, but at least Carsyle in my lair has a notably different pearl with dark-colored swirls inside; otherwise it's pretty normal.

Honestly I can't really name just one specific, but I did come up with a ton of songs for my OC, Fear, as well as storylines that I can't exactly post on FR. :P
I don't write FR lore, just fyi, only OC and AU stuff. xD

Though I also think of them while in bed, lol.

Starfall Isles has spatial distortions, rarely, but possible. Any teleportation magic used during such events is affected and the user may end up not exactly where they wanted or in a completely different place.

Undertides have subspecies:

Saltwater undertides (majority live in Sea of Thousand Currents)

Euryhaline (can live in saltwater/freshwater) undertides (most likely has nomadic behavior)

Freshwater undertides (lives in places like Gladeveins, Everbloom Gardens, etc.)
This headcanon was totally not from me watching the Monster Hunter ecology documentaries from youtube...

Random thought:
Exalting a dragon is basically sending it off to war, which fit's
Mhirkarys' lore as to why her sister did not wish to be exalted

I agree on the war part!
My lair is a land of peace in the canon flight rising world, so I have exalting as also being exiled in a way
If you break a law and cause disruption, you're sent down to the warring dergs below and banned from the floating peaceful paradise

I also like to think that dragons are naturally born with the color palette of their element/environment. Naturally, nature dergs (hehe pun) are more tree-like for example.

That's a very interesting headcanon, and a pretty one once you see all the matchy dragons in the lair. Would that also include the personality of the flight or the dragon species in some way? (Fire being passionate, Light valuing knowledge, Ridgebacks being 'borrowers', etc.)
For my lore, the dragon's element is either their birth region or the kind of magic they can use if they are able to. Other than that, there's also magic that can be used by any dragons but some will have an easier time using it (Arcanes using spatial magic, Plagues using blood magic, Shadows creating illusions, etc.).

LushSnow yea essentially! I'm not 100% sure what are the generally accepted/seen personalities of each, but I've made a list of generalizations here in the middle-section of
History
Ooh interesting, that adds up. My dergs are not permitted to use magic (or are very limited in its use since its seen as unstable...) the Arcanist is used as the example (since he nearly ended the world twice): Arcane is outright banned due to their high-magic potential that is subject to cause catastrophes
p.s. dragons of the arcane have still managed to live in the Skylands, but in secret... Shadow has taken them in and in return Arcane has shared some of their knowledge

Just remembered another that I had, though I think this one's already canon to the site:
Dragon eggs get their magic elements from the nearest deity and while inside the egg, right? So, as a headcanon(I think) eggs can be put in places like:
[map x=3321 y=1921 view=land width=480 height=240]Between Light and Shadow[/map]
or:
[map x=1620 y=1872 view=land width=480 height=240]Between Arcane and Plague[/map]
and they'd have some sort of combo of both once they come out of the egg, maybe even something like:
[map x=2390 y=2012 view=land width=480 height=240]Water, Plague, and Shadow[/map]
(tell me if the maps don't pop up)
