I have been in this fandom for 7 years now, and as a young artist I really really struggled to draw some of the dragons that had nothing comparable to them in the real world. I lack a minds eye, and so it was and still is difficult for me to draw without a reference. My goal with this project is to help other artists who might want to branch out of the same poses, and same easy breeds they feel comfortable drawing. So as a result these are totally free to use. Trace over them, eye ball them, edit the image, I do not care. It is totally free use, you do not have to ask to use it, and you do not have to give me credit unless you want to! I would REALLY LOOOVE to see anything you make if you reference any of these, I might even display it in the forum in the featured comment if you want! I totally lost motivation due to me trying my hardest to be perfect. I was being VERY hard on myself while making these, and would always worry I would annoy people if I posted anything less than perfect/accurate. When I normally make these, I do NOT do a whole lot of detail, I allow the mesh to break in areas and I have weird warping at unimportant spots. These are only meant to help with perspectives and not be used as a 1 to 1 guide, so when I make them for myself there isn't much worry there! While these heads aren't perfect, they are helpful to me. I need to realize they may still be helpful to others as well. So take two of the heads I have made for my own use! I also have a wildclaw, obelisk and a skydancer made with this level of quality. I may post them as mini updates when main releases are taking too long. So, I want to get to work on the snapper head and finish it! Going forward, I might not try SO HARD to be flawless. It is just impossible. However, I will maintain some quality control and full releases won't have issues like this mirror does. I will still have quality control, BUT I won't be as critical of myself. Hopefully you won't notice much of a change, and I start making these regularly again. [center][b][url=https://imgur.com/a/3JfkIzH]Mirror[/url][/b] Please be aware that its lower jaw and teeth are far from perfect on this mirror. I encourage you to slim the jaw down when drawing, since this is a modified head for one of my OCs, [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/88252739]Jovial[/url], who has a fat head for a mirror. I could not edit the jaw down enough without REALLY messing up the teeth, and this is meant to be temporary so I did not want to remake the whole jaw. [/center] [center][b][url=https://imgur.com/a/7H93OVC]Coatl [/url][/b] Super simple mouth, with only the bottom fangs, but otherwise nothing is wrong with it. It is a bit more stylized to my preferences, but barely.[/center]

yesss these are so awesome!! excited to see undertides done, and i'm super excited for the snapper too - i know they can give people some trouble and a model of them would be so good to see.

for another breed, i think i would vote for aether! they seem a bit tricky to me, especially their heads haha

I would also request aether for the next breed!
I've seen multiple artists struggle with them (myself included).

Haha! I am so so happy to help. I already have to use them for myself, even if only three of my OCs have a 3d model so far. It felt kinda lame to hold something like this to myself and NOT share it.
Aether will be next then, maybe even before the snapper... we will see. But HOH BOY, I should've known since Aether's are the breed I struggle with as well. I just hope I can get them right, since the babies seem to have a bit of a muzzle and the adults don't? Maybe I will make two versions, one with a slight muzzle, and one with a flat face. The jaw will be unlike anything I have made so far.

Thank you so much! I am probably going to do the aether next, maybe before the snapper. They are going to be the biggest challenge I think. Debating on doing a male and female variant due to the differences in horns (?'?'?) that all depends on how hard the horns will be to make tho LOL

ALSO I so get you with that!! I still struggle to find some animals to use alongside other breeds. I think the closest to a tundra I could find was a sea otter. I am mad for the ocean and marine life though, so maybe I just gotta learn about more terrestrial animals

@ProtolopeQuin Thank you!! And omg SAME!! Tundra are on the list of dragons I want to make, I struggle a lot with them. I always just end up giving them a different muzzle because I get frustrated [emoji=tundra tongue size=1]
