Generally, dragons are named based on their elemental alignment, personality, or their biological colors. Some dragons are already named when they come into the clan. Some dragons believe they must earn their names, and will wait for ages until they find the right one for them. Each head is its own person, so they usually have separate names. As a whole body, both heads must agree on a third, unifying name. An Aether individual may have impulsively decided on one name, and then a few days later, decide on a new one. Like Veilspun, these names have no bearing or indication on the individual's gender, or their gender expression. Their first name is the one that they use in the physical world. Usually this is based off of nature, fruit, plants, or other influences. In the Loop, an Auraboa must find their name for themselves. Sometimes it comes naturally, and sometimes they must spend many nights dreaming to find a revelation. Due to the musical history and culture of their ancestors, Banescales of this clan have names associated with written music or song. The crystal blue waters also attribute to this name. This cove is said to be a place of respite honored by Tidelord, who led dragons to harbor here for safety from storms. The main portion of the land is [b]Shark's Bight[/b], the coast that encompasses the [b]Crescent Bay[/b]and [b]Sharktooth Bay[/b]. The Sharktooth Bay is named for the sharp white cliffs that jet out from the land, called the Shark's Teeth by natives. This jagged coast is protected and signaled by [b]Whiterock Lighthouse[/b], which guides ships coming in from that side and provides light to avoid the rough landscape. A common safe point within the Sharktooth Bay is [b]Tortoise Hill[/b], a smaller settlement that is common among sailors and the like. Travelers, pirates, and traders come and go from here without much difficulty. Named for the generations of sea turtles and land tortoises that come to nest, the wild areas are protected when the breeding season comes around. Across the Crescent Bay lies the city of [b]Harbor Haven[/b]. As the name implies, this is a resting place for all kinds of dragons. Known for its simple, quiet lifestyle and the local artisans and shopkeepers, this town is where most of the action is. A bridge connects the Harbor Haven to [b]Latchfort[/b], a city that used to be a military encampment along with lighthouse [b]Pelican Point[/b]. The settlement has not been used as such for a long while, but the dragons who train for the Coliseum still use this area as training grounds as well as storage for loot and valuables. The [b]Forgotten Cove[/b] has been untouched by dragons for a long while. It is generally bad luck to go here, and there are plenty of remains and bones on the shores from dragons who did not listen to the warnings. No one is quite sure exactly WHAT is so dangerous, but in recent times wild animals and plants have taken over what used to be a village in the [b]Nameless Harbor[/b]. It is said this port once had a name, but it has since been lost to time. The mangrove sanctuary of [b]Sunken Root Wood[/b] is a protected area by dragons, ever since herds of Mammertee were found to come during breeding season. They also raise their young in the abandoned waters of the Forgotten Cove, and as to not disturb them, it is another reason dragons avoid the area. Dragons tend to the forest and try not to take more than what can grow back, valuing the time spent in the area and memories rather than physical objects from the Wood.
