Kamari_-he/they________________________________________________quote or song Kamari is a highly curious dragon who serves as the city's Arcane representative. Known for his quick wit, Kamari is quite the dreamer and has a lot of ideas for how the city can be improved. However, quite a lot of these plans just aren't in the budget... Kam can often be found scheming with Kaneru, or more recently, making friends with the newly landed Aethers. |

When the first glimmers of something began to emerge from the sky, Kamari was ready. Kam had been laughed off many times, but THIS time, for sure, he knew it was real. It had to be. The mystery that he had read from fleeting scraps of paper, faded and torn to shreds. Barely any record of the event survived. He wasn't sure if that was Arcanist's intended will, or if it merely was lost to time, or perhaps a combination of all of these things. All he could gather, is that something was sent to the outer reaches of Sornieth's atmosphere. Or someone. Many someones. If his hypothesis was true, then perhaps these individuals were the Arcanist's first creations. Much like the legendary figure Icarus, they flew too close to the sun, and perhaps were stranded out of orbit for millennia. Their records, their lifestyles, their culture... all stranded in space somewhere. He hoped they wouldn't be too lonely. He hoped that they would want to get to know the new world that dragonkind established. Other Ancient species had somewhat bittersweet reunions, such as the Undertides and even the Gaolers and Banescales. He hoped the Arcanist would be happy, that his kin had finally come home. He made a wish on what many thought was a star. Even if it was just a star, perhaps someone would still hear it. |

Gidget is a very particular familiar - she only seems to like Kaneru. She follows him around everywhere and it's not unusual to find her pawing at some loose screws. |
