Hey people! ♥ This whole thing is dedicated to my Clan who is and always will be changing~ To not lose track of all the stories, I've started to write things down. It helps me memorize for future lore. I'm not sure of interacting with other clans, not because I don't want to, but because my english-skills are limited! ([u]I'm not a native speaker[/u]) I might get tired of finding words and then there will be long gaps between my creative gushes. XD A reason why most of my dragons don't have a proper lore in their bio. Q__Q Nonetheless, it finally needs to be done! Have some of those - chronological not always correct - written gushes down in this forum! I'll definitely tweak around the story from time to time! [b]To get a blurb, this is what the Clan is mostly about:[/b] This Clan is divided by two parties. The [b]Terraclae Conglomerate[/b] (TerraCon) and the [b]Wastelanders[/b]! The lore is heavily based on meeting new Gen1's and "saving" them from getting exalted (or "sacrificed" as the Wastelanders would say). Some even want to find out who abandoned so many unhatched eggs and why there are mass-hatches around Sornieth. But this quest seems to be endless and without success... And my Clan has banners! Some may think the variety is more of a reason to cut asunder a union of total different parties, but they prove it’s otherwise. The Clan Founder, [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/15130472]Fudgy[/url], nurtures the good in dragonkind. He leads his people to believe in magical and spiritual unison as well as the power of defense, handicraft and communication. He and his followers live in an elaborated, widely livable cave carved into the great Terraclae near the World Pillar. They explored even the natural caves and found a hidden vault inside the mountains. Like some secret left-behind hoard, there were dozens of hibernating dragons. They all had glittering wings matching their elemental affiliation. It almost seemed like the gods had left behind their gemmy treasure. [i]Fudgy[/i] made clear to never wake those dragons, but to protect and guard them as they believed the dragons must be laid here to rest by the gods themselves. Years passed and only a handful of them actually woke up, just to speak in a not known language, seemingly confused about the intruders. They approached the trespassers with curiosity and soon figured out, that Fudgy and his clan were no harm. They established a strong bond with [i]Fudgy[/i], who were still protecting the ones hibernating. Learning the new language and being worshipping dragons of the surface, they slowly managed to make themselves a home in the carved houses. The masons of the clan built famous temples and they forged giant houses inside the cave walls. Every dragon had it’s very own important duty and every task was important for the survival in this cave. A cave, that was at first an uninhabitable place. Bare stone and cold rocks became a living place of warmth and comfort. [i]Fudgy[/i] started to enlarge the lair and members of the clan began to grow fields of food and cattle nearby. Everything worked out fine until some fateful day the first [b]Wastelander[/b] passed their home, their sheltered cave. The [b]Terraclae Conglomerate[/b], or short [b]TerraCon[/b] – that’s what they call their home. They were unaware that the first radioactive roamers settled near their home. A totally different party of dragons. The feisty [i]Wastelanders[/i] are wild and believe in the power of technology rather than magic. With their cunning and scheming mind, they thought it’d be easy to exploit the [i]TerraCons[/i] and take over their belongings and home after excessive research. A dragon called [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/8894831]Fennec[/url] was the puppet master in this mad game where he observed the [i]TerraCons[/i] for months until he sets free a wild radioactive dragon called [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/4182686]Oxida[/url]. He wanted to see the so-called gods of dragonkind and started to give orders to kill the hatchlings of [i]Fudgys[/i] clan. [i]Oxidas[/i] brain was nothing more than a rotten mass, so she just did what her leader told her. The first few encounters ended not so well for the young folks until a dragon called [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/58776]Runa[/url] showed up. She was old, almost as old as the beginning of time itself it seemed. She remembered the first days of dragonkinds existence and her wisdom helped [i]Fudgy[/i] to understand [i]Oxida[/i]. She explained, that in the second age, when the great reactor exploded and consumed all known life, pieces of those atomically radiated metal were buried deep inside the earth. The tide buried these from the awareness of the lives that came with the gods: The known dragon species. When the first dragons appeared to have some “toxic” aura, they were quickly excluded from other tribes. Their scales weren’t toxic at all; they were radiated by the backward chunk of the ancient reactor that created the [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/11]Arcanist[/url]. A whole society arose by that incident. A society of ruthless roamers, scheming scientist and heavily radiated feral beings. The [i]TerraCons[/i] just happened to cross the territory of a bunch of [i]Wastelanders[/i]! How they became an union you might ask now? Well… it’s just so simple: curiosity on both sides! After [i]Fudgy[/i] defended his clan successfully, [i]Fennec[/i] himself showed up. A thin, almost dead looking Skydancer. His strange worn off skin suited his lifeless attitude. The best word to describe him would be: He looked undead. Ghoulish. The [i]TerraCons[/i] didn’t run off in fear as they saw him and he took that as a token of goodwill. [i]Fennec[/i] offered a dragon egg he found in return instead of just experimenting on it. A parent-less, abandoned egg like he was once himself. Like [i]Fudgy[/i] was once. Fate just threw his egg in a poisoned trash pile of long forgotten ruins while [i]Fudgys[/i] egg landed in the lap of a caring [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/game-database/item/7328]Cragbacked Bouldursa[/url]... It was a dark but warm summer evening as she found not food, but an unusual small dragon egg in front of her feet. She sniffed it, rolled it over and licked on it - her stomach grumbled heavier. She wasn't sure if this tasty looking rock was even edible, because it tasted not just like stone or earth, it had an extraordinary aftertaste. "Somehow sweet", she thought. The warmth of the sun was almost gone, as the little egg began to crack open. The Bouldursa startled backwards and almost tripped over her own legs. "How could a sweet stone suddenly crack open?", she mumbled. Fur spilled out and a soft whimpering noise was hearable. Once again, she looked closer as suddenly, a dragon head poked out of the pebbly egg. The hatchling immediately screamed for the creature in front of him. The Bouldursa was astonished and mournful at the same time. It was a dragon egg!, she thought surprised. "How could anyone leave a baby behind?" She helped the baby dragon to hatch properly and ripped the hard eggshells apart. The little dragon promptly searched for shelter under the big belly of the Bouldursa. "I'm not your mommy.", the big stoney bear said. "But I'll raise you like one." A horrid stench was the first thing he noticed, when he ripped his eggshells apart. Not being able to open his eyes fully, he began to search on the dusty floor for… for anything! When suddenly the dust raised and got so tight, it clogged his throat. A screeching noise echoed through the void around him and his urge to scream, just led to a heavy cough. Steadily the first thoughts were forming in his mind. [i]Who‘s there? Where am I? And… who am I?[/i] He tried to say something, but coughed up a slimy mass right in front of his small, teetered feet. As he tipped his soft, tiny claws in this mass, he heard the screeching again. He coughed harder and his clotted eyelids began to unbolt. It was still dark around him. „Hello?“ It was not his voice, that much he knew! „I heard you.“, said the voice again. „I heard you coughing and stumbling around.“ The tone sounded raspy and closer than he would have wanted. „You‘re fodder for the gods.“ Then the harsh voice laughed hysterically. „Fodder! Come~ere, little rawboned baby!“ A sudden stomp shook his body and he began to run. [b]Stomp![/b] The floor and his body vibrated and the coughing got so intense, that his first scream reached the air around him. [b]Stomp![/b] It sounded similar to the tone he heard before… [b]Stomp![/b] Was it just another „fodder“ that got eaten? By something or someone called – God? [b]Stomp![/b] The ground cracked open and he fell into a small hollow area underneath the dusty floor. The coughing didn't stop and the gooey mass began to drip out of his mouth again. It had a strange glow to it and he suddenly knew, that the horrid stench came from his body. Something in his anxious head began to split. As if a part in his mind just wanted to crawl out of the darkness. The small bundle of fear was about to lose consciousness and something or someone else took charge of his body... The split personality of Fennec, the leader of the Wastelanders in this clan. While Fennec is stubborn and elusively scheming, his weird other self adds in very narcissistic traits as well. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/29367899]Boulderflame[/url] and [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/74836441]Skadi[/url] were the first two who volunteered to search for possible threat in the cave. They first discovered a complete intact wall full of medieval looking cave paintings and as they were walking further, a gigantic room loomed before them. Small crystals on the ceiling of the cave let the whole hall appear like a starry night sky. [i]Skadi[/i] stumbled over her own words and all she could say was a raspy: “Oh my Earth!” [i]Boulderflame[/i] though, was not that impressed. The only thing he worried about was, if the owners of the cave paintings still lived in this hall and if they were friendly enough to greet intruders or if they would rather threaten them. Nevertheless, the two never found any evidence of native dragons in this cave so they told [i]Fudgy[/i] they could finally make their permanent home here. The stonecutters of the Clan formed a majestic entrance out of the small hole in the Terraclae. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/54727615]Tectonica[/url] and her craftsmen embedded the ground with metal tiles. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/16279153]Kallainos[/url] and his libertines decorated the walls with beautiful drawings and silky curtains and [i]Boulderflame[/i] and [i]Skadi[/i] built their own defense system including a small arena near the entrance. Little by little they made themselves a home worth living. First nobody thought it was strange, but with every rising day, things seemed to disappear. It started with small objects like food, canvas paintings or other rather unimportant items. But when more important stuff vanished, the Clan got suspicious and scared. “Ghosts from the past!”, the pebbles of the Clan started to whisper. After days in the deepest tunnels, they found exactly nothing. The thievery did stop until during Beef’s night shift; he saw a fast shadow from the ceiling of the hall stealing one of [i]Tectonicas[/i] forger items. “Stop!”, he screamed and bumped his head at the intruder. Everyone was alerted at this moment and resurfaced from their tents, engraved rooms and other places of the cave to see what he caught by surprise. The whole Clan was astonished. A very small [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/29530560]Nocturne[/url] stared at them, obviously frightened by the gigantic snappers surrounding them. It had a drab color and resembled the stone walls around everyone. “That’s why we couldn’t find the thief! Look at those scales!”, [i]Skadi[/i] mentioned. “What’s your name?”, [i]Fudgy[/i] asked politely, but the small Nocturne just breathed heavily and screamed in fear when he suddenly flew towards a small hole in the wall of the hall and disappeared. After that incident the Nocturne was long time not seen. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/48068218]Kybele[/url] and [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/17090657]Cymophane[/url] though wanted to make sure the native dragon of this cave didn’t feel expulsed so they started to talk into the deep dark cave tunnels in hope they could hear them. After weeks of luring them out of their hiding place, the small Nocturne came near [i]Cymophane[/i] and started to babble in an unknown language. Not knowing what their intention was, [i]Cymophane[/i] presented them with a bouquet of desert flowers from the surface and [i]Kybele[/i] handed them some shiny rune crafted by herself. The Nocturne just stared at this offer and then said an almost unintelligible “Thank you!”. [i]Cymophane[/i] invited them to visit their Clan in the hall and the Nocturne agreed. Their language was off the standards and sounded more like the babbling of a child. As soon as they saw all the Imperials of the Clan, they hid under [i]Cymophanes[/i] wings and made astonished noises, but when [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/45659634]Esja[/url] prepared a delicious meal, the Nocturne fell in love. Through their strange native language, they made clear that they’ll not steal anymore as long as they get free food as they wish. [i]Fudgy[/i] agreed and since then, the lonely Noc is now a part of [b]Clan TerraCon[/b].
