Tales tell, that some dragons in Sornieth who called themselves just "Sands", managed to grow everything on dry land. Where they walked, springs appeared, plants grew and wealth came to dragons nearby. They were soon be much respected and got a warm welcome in every lair. Since they were nomadic, they never stayed for long. This led to the first dragon clans to capture them and force them to stay. Other lairs got jealous and wars started. The Sands never claimed to have the powers others mentioned. They just knew how to search for water and plants in unreal habitats. It happened as it was bound to happen... the first nomads were killed - exalted - to cleanse the dry land. Hundreds of them vanished until not a single nomad was ever be found. Aker doesn't claim to be a descendant of some ancient nomadic tribe, but he doesn't deny it either. It could just be a coincidence, but for some reason, Fudgy and his clan never had problems farming.
