The Valkyries best defender. She doesn't like to be touched. Just don't.

The first time Oddrun opened her eyes was in a pile of unhatched eggs. Her own eggshells glowed brighter then most of the others so she could see her surroundings very well. As there started to hatch more dragons, she noticed that she was one of very few with a seamless color on her hide. Her stubby legs stumbled over dozens of hatchlings who didn't make it earlier as she searched for an exit of this dark den. It smelled rotten, but a gentle breeze flew through the dense air from time to time. "There must be an exit.", she mumbled. Other hatchlings walked toward the soft breeze as well.
"Where are we?", some asked, but nobody answered.
Their instincts chased them forward until they saw a flickering light. Oddrun and a frail looking hatchling right next to her were the first ones entering a giant room made out of wood and stone. They looked up to see who resides here and if they were probably family.
But they weren't at all.

"Look at them. Finally some made it out alive." Grabbing claws reached for every hatchling. Everything happened very fast at this point. They separated them by color and pattern. While Oddrun found herself in a stable out of hatchlings with seamless colors, every other hatchling went straight back to the dark den or got killed on spot. The frail looking dragon landed in her stable and began to cry silently. Far away screams reached the room the surviving hatchlings were. Oddrun could see and hear the fear around her, but with every last gasp a hatchling did, her anger grew. Even if she was just a few hours old, she already started to nurture her fellow survivors with plans of an escape.

"Why did you put this one in the sales stable? Look at its face!" The dark creature asked someone in the room. Oddrun flinched, but then brawled and screamed at her captor the best she could. "It's odd, right? 4 eyes on a snapper with a split jaw? Maybe she gets pricey! Her colors are okay though."
Even though she could slightly understand those beasts, her ability to answer were limited. A split jaw, what did they mean?
