LOCATION

The Dread Father himself has taken up residence deep within the Hellwell Undercroft. But most wouldn't even be privy to this fact. He keeps the entrance to his catacombs a very, very closely guarded secret, and very few outside of his most trusted Revenants know where it is.

Though the Seraphim travel far and wide to do their Father's bidding, they are known to take time to rest just outside of the Blight Sanctum. Usually to listen in on what is happening in the world at large. What better way to determine where their influence would be best plied?
The Wastelanders lurk through the expansive wastes to monitor those who would impede too closely on the areas Renfeld controls. It's a large area to cover, but they are resolute and would not abandon their post.
On the edge of the Tangled Wood, where the brambles give way to the Scarred Wasteland, a small group of Revenants lurk in the shadows. Far from the Dread Father's eye, they serve as sentinels, both ready to defend their Father's territory but also to warn away those who might come to face the same end...
The Guild functions as a way to earn ever more treasure for the clan's coffers. Renfeld has blessed off on any manner they deem worthy of getting gold, so though the Guild does sell wares and the like, they are perhaps better known for their pickpockets and other less savory ways of earning coin.
Where the land meets the sea, at a crossroads between the Scarred Wasteland and Starwood Strand, a small group of Oracles takes their refuge. Gifted seers, here is the place where they spin their prophecies.

aMEMBERS

16z9FYs.png
The Revenants

Those few turned directly by the Dread Father himself, they are the ranking dragons among their vampiric kin. For they are full-blooded children of Renfeld, worthy of great respect.
64387592p.png
ARAMASTRIUS
Most Beloved, First Revenant

The very first to be turned by Renfeld, Aramastrius is the strongest of his vampiric kin. And there are some who say he is hungrier than the Dread Father himself...
MALKAVYAN
Devout Follower

He may look sweet, but sometimes the deadliest things come in the smallest packages. Malkavyan is just as ruthless as any other Revenant, and even they give him a wide berth...
61879967p.png
67110261p.png
VYKTHRYS
Watch Your Back

Vykthrys is never one to shy away from a fight, and seems to live solely on the thrill of combat alone. Well, that and of course blood. But it doesn't seem to complain when Renfeld orders it to hunt down enemies.
GALBATROIX
Mournful Follower

Perhaps the only full-blooded Revenant to regret his lot in life, Galbatroix never wanted to be a vampire. Still, he serves, if only as an excuse to keep others from suffering the same fate. And he does it all with a sad smile on his face.
66058607p.png

LESSER REVENANTS
Those turned by one of the Dread Father's first Revenants, these dragons are still part of Renfeld's inner circle, and they are still respected and feared by their subordinates.
68708840p.png
VENTRYU
Always Watching

Renfeld's ever-vigilant guardian, Ventryu watches over the Dread Father at all times, his many-eyes piercing anyone who dares approach his beloved Master. And eagerly he awaits the day someone tries something rash...
KAMARYLLA
Work Before Play

The Dread Father's direct line of communication between his sanctum and the Wastelanders, Kamarylla is most often spotted streaking through the sky to deliver messages back and forth. Does he ever sleep?
68356591p.png
17472745p.png
GALBATINY
Artificer and Master Trapmaker

Serving as the constantly vigilant guardian watching over the entrance to Renfeld's sanctum, Galbatiny is not one to back down from a fight. None who try to slip past him live to tell the tale...
GUTTER
Rough and Tumble

Owner of a saloon near the entrance to the Hellwell Undercroft, Gutter knows you have to be tough out here to make it. And tough she is. Unruly patrons of her saloon often learn the hard way that if they pick a fight with Gutter, she always wins.
58043757p.png
57925750p.png
INTRUSIVE
An Apple A Day...

An unwilling doctor at best, Intrusive is not exactly known for his bedside manner. In fact, most of the time his patients end up leaving after being treated feeling worse than when they walked in. Intrusive, if asked about this, has nothing to say.

SERAPHIM

Messengers of Death, Harbingers of Destruction, the Seraphim are the voices of the Dread Father from beyond his Dark Sanctum. As such, their arrival is more often than not a dreaded occurrence by any who cross paths with them.
63347402p.png
LESTAT
Deathly Daydream

Cold, elegant, and cruel, Lestat is the most trusted Voice of Renfeld, and will spread the Dread Father's influence as far as he can fly. Skilled in various magicks, his ethereal presence is truly something to be admired...and feared.
URTICA
Silent Healer

The only one (besides Renfeld) that Lestat trusts, Urtica serves as his healer as well as his mate. The two are never seen apart from one another. None have ever heard her voice save for her mate, though it's likely that any who have simply don't live to talk about it.
63616554p.png
42141380p.png
BRIGANTINE
Stubborn Brick Wall

Though she'd much rather spend her time hustling people at cards at Gutter's saloon, Brigantine is a diligent worker and enjoys the task of spreading Renfeld's influence to weaker clans. After all, a girl's gotta eat.

WASTELANDERS

Eternally prowling the wastes to ensure the security of the Dread Decay, the Wastelanders are sentinels; none pass without their say, and more often than not, those that are allowed entrance never leave.
65462471p.png
CUTLER
Loyal Sentinel

Turned a very long time ago by Aramastrius, Cutler takes his job of keeping the riffraff out of the Dread Decay very, very seriously. Witty and sarcastic, Cutler might seem easy to befriend...until you try and pull something stupid, that is.
WINNIE
Unrelenting Protector

Perhaps because Cutler himself is a little more laid back than his kin, Winnie has remained rather soft for her kind. Travelers are less likely to befall regrettable fates when they cross paths with her, and her vampiric kin often seek her out when they just need someone to talk to or listen.
64828686p.png
66300655p.png
KABAL
Bless the Child

He may not be a vampire, but Kabal is just as much a misfit as any of the others. Taken in by Winnie as an egg, he has since come into his own as a very talented healer. But his existence is kept a closely guarded secret, even from Renfeld.
HALEY
Punisher

Hardly one to speak, Haley is known for his gruff and aloof personality. The least companionable among the Wastelanders, it's his duty to take care of anyone who tries to give the first line the slip. Thankfully that doesn't happen often, because he's not one to show mercy...
66004171p.png
69439664p.png
BLYTHE
Wicked Little Grin

Perpetually trailing after Haley, Blythe is just as mean-spirited as he, though she's infinitely more chatty. Her main source of entertainment is tangling herself around the legs of fleeing dragons to make it more easy for Haley to catch up to them, much to the skydancer's chagrin.
AUTUMN
Just Remember

Never one to turn down a job, Autumn acts as a go-between amongst her fellow Wastelanders. Usually this involves delivering messages and the like, but every now and then she's tasked with carrying supplies to various outposts. Whether or not she enjoys the job, she won't say. And no one bothers to ask.
42169304p.png
19511516p.png
ARILLA
You're Here Forever

Cruel and callous, Arilla greatly enjoys hauling in her quarry far more than any of her fellow Wastelanders. In fact, she plays with them like a cat with a mouse, and has countless trophies of her exploits...
ORVILLE
Cross My Heart

Generally well-liked among his peers, Orville repairs weapons and the like, and helps Estella head up the Wastelanders' base camp. A far from glamorous charge he still tends to with great care.
71602955p.png
66266631p.png
ESTELLA
Hold Your Breath

Estella helps Orville take care of the base camp, mostly by making sure everyone is working hard and not slacking off, as well as keeping track of schedules. It's busy work, but she wouldn't have it any other way.

GLADEDWELLERS

On the edge of the Tangled Wood and Scarred Wasteland, a number of Renfeld's Revenants make their home in the perpetually pestilent darkness. They ply their wares and try to turn those unfortunate few who stumble upon them away, lest they share the same dark fate.
65959031p.png
OLLPHÉIST
Lonely Wanderer

The only dragon ever turned by Renfeld outside of his inner circle of Revenants, Ollphéist works tirelessly in his attempts to keep travelers from venturing into the Dread Father's territory. Kind, sad, and loyal, he is well-liked by most of his kin, even if they do see him as soft.
ORKRYSLLN
Reader of Tea Leaves

A bit of an oddity, Orkryslln is skilled in the reading of tea leaves, and the smell of tea and herbs follow him everywhere he goes. But even though he is always ready to delve into the futures of his clients, Orkryslln is clearly holding his own secrets...
66005755p.png
66153530p.png
ORSINO
Crafter of Charms

Orsino, cursed to remain a hatchling, will never admit to regretting his decision to join the Revenants, but it's a fate he cannot change. Clever and always wanting to keep his claws busy, he crafts and sells talismans and other trinkets, and is hardly ever seen far from his friend Oubliette's side.
OVERSEER
Poisoned Honey

Feared and distrusted by all, Overseer is always eager to find any excuse possible to drag visitors off to Renfeld. As such, she has no friends save for her ferret, Quiros. Not that she minds in the slightest; she would much rather be feared than loved.
63462472p.png
66166064p.png
OUBLIETTE
Scatterbrained Historian

Perpetually losing their possessions, Oubliette is perhaps overly fond of books, and they have a grand collection of volumes and tomes and are most often found studying history. Incredibly knowledgeable, they are considered a great asset to the Dread Father's family, even if their penchant for forgetting almost everything outside of history sometimes ruffles a few feathers.
HURMLEY
Tireless Scavenger

Constantly combing through the area surrounding the Glade for bones and other items for Orsino's crafting, Hurmley is efficient at his task, even if he seems to despise it. No one dares ask where exactly he finds the items he brings back. They're useful, and that's all that they - and Hurmley - care about.
68795967p.png
65096523p.png
HOWL
Trademaster

The one directly responsible for overseeing trade between the Gladedwellers and the Guild, Howl is far more likely to pocket treasure than pass it along. A swindler at heart, the only thing he cares about at the end of the day is how many coins he has in his pockets. How long he can keep this habit a secret from the ever-vigilant Dread Father, though, remains to be seen.
HYSTERIETTA
Possibly Useful

No one really knows why she's here or what her purpose is, but Hysterietta's talent as a translator makes her somewhat useful to keep around, even if she doesn't really even know the names of any of the languages she speaks. More often than not, she can be found asleep in Oubliette's library, seemingly unable to finish reading the book of ancient runes she's meant to study for years...
69895426p.png

THE GUILD
The Dread Father's coffers constantly hunger for swag, and the Guild stands eternally ready to answer the call. Pickpockets, thieves, cutthroats, and fences, their methods are illegitimate at best, but they care little about such things. After all, Renfeld himself has blessed off any effort they make, so long as the gold keeps flowing in...
52889486p.png
SEKHMET
Infamous Leader

Self-proclaimed head of the Guild, Sekhmet is cunning, ruthless, and incredibly charming. A very dangerous combination to any she zeroes in on as a source of income. Originally a cutpurse heralding from the Starfell Isles, Sekhmet has since migrated to the Revenant's Domain, where her...talents are better appreciated.
STETSON
Notorious Bodyguard

Scarcely seen out of view of Sekhmet, Stetson serves as her bodyguard, as well as enforcer when things get out of hand. Always quick to chase off anyone who pesters the Head of the Guild, he's an intimidating presence in the market.
67868707p.png
68300917p.png
SIVIEL
Spare a Coin?

Quick and quiet, Siviel prefers to earn her coin by conning unwary travelers passing through the market. Those unfortunate enough to be caught in her little web always end up turning out their pockets, whether because she's swindled them at a rigged game, or because she feigns illness or hunger. After all, who can deny such a cute little thing as she?
SADDLER
Gold-Hungry

Professional treasure hunter and amateur historian. Saddler is perhaps the only truly friendly face in the Guild. When he isn't delving into ancient ruins or crumbling tunnels seeking more gold for the Dread Father, he's welcoming travelers into his own stall, if only to keep them away from the pickpockets for a little while longer. He also has a strange habit of swallowing gold every now and again, though no one knows if it's because he's developed a taste for it or if it's a way to keep it safe from everyone else.
68221115p.png
65909740p.png
SORDID
Pearly Whites

Sordid stands as a stark contrast to Saddler as perhaps the most cruel Revenant lurking among the Guild's ranks. Referred to as "Toothy" by Sekhmet, Sordid constantly complains about how hungry he is, and even newcomers to the market give his battered stall a wide berth. Those scratches all over it aren't very welcoming...
SILAS
But You Have Heard of Me

The Worst Pickpocket in the Guild, Silas can be found trying to catch butterflies far more often than he can be found picking pockets. He doesn't seem to mind much, and so long as he brings in at least a few handfuls of treasure at regular intervals, the Guild allows him to remain.
66258809p.png

ORACLES

Dwelling on the border of the Starfell Isles and the Scarred Wasteland, where the land meets the sea, a small throng of Oracles spin their prophecies. And their gift is ever-guarded by their sometimes overprotective keepers.
66269748p.png
HAARYN
Your Eyes Deceive You

Haaryn is ancient, having existed nearly as long as Renfeld himself. Indeed, his annual pilgrimage to pay her homage and hear her prophecies is one of the very few reasons he ever leaves his sanctum. Speaking only to those she deems worthy, Haaryn is just as respected as the Dread Father.
ANTASAAM
Gentle Is Not Weak

Tending to her mistress, Haaryn, Antasaam's purpose is to ensure the head oracle is able to continue her work without interruption. A budding oracle herself, Antasaam is almost an apprentice to the older and wiser dragon. There are rumors that she is the child of Renfeld and Haaryn, but no one can confirm this.
66200374p.png
66327246p.png
VILTAAJS
Be Afraid

Just like the other oracles, Viltaajs spins his prophecies, but his almost always equate to death, destruction, and upheaval. When he opens his mouth, only despair is issued further. It's been a long while since he has issued such a warning, but it's only a matter of time...
KILJAASI
Bitter Truth

Kiljaasi serves as the last line of defense between the Oracles and any who would seek to harm or interfere with them. Stoic and cautious, Kiljaasi is an "attack first, ask questions later" kind of dragon. Which means she is brutally proficient at her job.
