The Scarred Wasteland was not where Renfeld had antitipated on setting up a dwelling, but as the saying goes, beggars cannot be choosers. As if it was his fault he was born like this anyway, his egg either abandoned or forgotten. Before he had even hatched, Renfeld's fate was sealed; the egg had been tainted. Whether by dragons or Beastclans or something as of yet unknown may never be revealed, but the Shade-touch plagued him from within. When he broke free of the shell, undulating body slithering out into the world, Renfeld was hungry. But not for food...

A vampire, a creature of darkness. Renfeld dwelled in the dark, traveling from shadowed wood to murky swamp as he sought a place to call his own. Somewhere he could live in peace and solitude. But after time, his cravings changed. No longer did he wish solely to survive. He wanted to thrive.

Renfeld seeks to spread his dark gift to any he deems worthy - and those beings are few. Only his chosen Revenants have been directly turned by Renfeld himself, and while they are only allowed in his Sanctum for as long as they prove themselves useful, he views them as his children. And like any good father, he seeks to care for them...by any means necessary...

Tread carefully, now, little child
