Sambuca's original story. Well, not so much a story as the door game introduction to her. She was won in a door game years and years ago. She's getting a fresh look today, and she is well overdue for it. Adrenaline gave you the needed courage to cross the square and basically hurl yourself inside the building, narrowly missing a pot holding violently purple flowers and landing on your elbows underneath one of the many glass tables. Fortune blessed you indeed when the mirror spotted you but backed away and headed back where they came from without even approaching the door....but perhaps not too much upon you realizing that you may have crushed some saplings in pastel-colored pots. Whoops. "What did you do?!" Oddly enough, it wasn't the old Imperial's voice you were familiar with that let out the horrified shout. Turning your head in the cramped space there was no time to brush off any evidence off yourself before a young Skydancer tromped her way to you. Expecting the worst you had an excuse on your tongue, but she simply snagged your arm and pulled you with her on the way to a back door. "--aeton is going to kill me, do you have any idea how lucky you are that I'm not dealing with you the way he told me to deal with trespassers? I'm risking my job for you, if I lose it YOU are going to be the source of my next paycheck whether you like it or not!" ... In the end, she does end up following you home. It's a long story how, but let's just say that she didn't manage to get you out of there before the Imperial missed your presence.

He knew he wasn't welcome here. Arriving at the appointed house he slowly knocked three times. The sound echoed through the old, creaky house, followed by a fae nervously answering the door. Without saying anything, Andru made eye contact with the fae and was let in. It was his job to collect from those who had taken more than they can repay, when their time was up. Taking a seat Andru sat in silence as the nervous fae fluttered around, unsure of what to do. But just as the fae was about to open her mouth, Andru stopped her. "I see the debt's all payed off." he stated, matter-of-factly. Confused the fae raised her face, and was greeted by a warm smile. Andru would never hurt those in these tough situations. Leaving the town the same way he had come, he was once again met with glares, as the dragons thought he had taken all the money from that poor fae. But he knew he hadn't. It was ok to be hated. It is that time of year when the Merry Muchkins come down from their home to spread joy throughout the rest of Sornieth. Big or small, new or old, everyone is welcome to participate in the festivities. Below you will find the links to a variety of games and activities. There are lots of presents available at the games, interesting things to do in the activities, and of course, a chance to win big in the contests. Well then, let's not delay any longer.

GAMES
The Merry Munchkins do love their games! Won't you join us for some exciting fun. As always, there is a chance to win big!

• Go Fish (runs from 1st-5th)-- A Merry Munchkin favorite! Come join the hatchlings' game of Go Fish and see what you can fish up!
  
• Fortune Telling Game (runs from 1st-7th)-- Returning with another round of exciting and 100% accurate* fortunes for you to enjoy. There is also a chance to get a nice present too.
  
• Scavernger Hunt (runs from 1st-7th)-- A new game for 2025. Someone has hexed the library's books and now they are scattered all over the place. Can you hunt them down before they are hopelessly lost?
  
• Cookies for Narmod (runs from 4th-7th)-- Narmod is working hard in his workshop making sure the last of the presents are ready to go out. This is your chance to give the Big Munchkin something to thank them for all of their hard work. Who knows, maybe you'll get something nice for your gratitude. This could be your one chance to get something, especially if you've been particularly naughty this year.

ACTIVITIES
Will you join us for some fun and exciting holiday activities? Merry Muchkin activities are meant to entertain and engage players, but do not award prizes. All activities will run from the 1st-7th.

• Gift Giving: Remember, as you are receiving gifts, you can give them as well. This is the time of year for kindness. Drop by and offer a friend something that will make their day. A gift doesn't have to be something big or fancy, sometimes all it takes is a hug to brighten someone's day.
  
• Solve the Mystery: This is horrible! Someone has stolen Lady Night's History! The tome is ancient and must be returned to the library soon, before the magic that keeps it intact fades. If that happens the history of the first child will be lost forever! This is a read-and-click, mystery game. Follow the clues and bring home the ancient tome!
  
• Keep the Hatchling Clean: The nursery is in need of your help. They have their hands full and they need you to take care of one hatchling for a little while. Careful though, the hatchling just had a bath and it would be dreadful if it got dirty.

• Writing Contest: Calling all writers! Do you enjoy telling your tall tales to an excited audience? Well, this contest is for you. A short story contest all about the holiday season and the Merry Munchkins.
  
• Art Contest: Calling all artists! We need the works of your imagination. What can you dream up for this year's theme?
  
• Pageant Contest: It's that time again! The Merry Munchkins are looking for the face of the 2025 Merry Munchkin Festival. Show us your mascot potential!

BADGES
There are several badges available for the various games and activities taking place during the event. Anyone who participates in any of the activities during the event will be eligible to get an event badge. The exception to this will be the pageant contest badges. There are three of those, everyone gets a participation badge, but the winner and the honorable mention badges go to the winning parties.
