Every time he makes eye contact, Gazer can see a glimpse of someone's past. The longer eye contact remains, the more he sees, and as a young hatchling this developed a bad habit of staring at others for unsettlingly long periods of time. Even with plenty of training and self disapline as an adult, he sometimes finds himself lost in these visions mid-conversation, leading to long awkward pauses or a strong aversion to eye contact. The extent of their relationship is dramatically downplayed and rather secretive, and as such, any offspring they produce are either laid and cared for in a hidden place within the lair, or the two travel outside the clan's realm to rear their young with trusted allies. Ruse is a worldly fellow with enough resources to find suitable caretakers for their children to apprentice under. Like their parents, all children bore between these two naturally attract all things supernatural, particularly the ghostly and undead variety, whether they like it or not. He very much takes after his father in this regard. He also seems to be the first one to have inherited his father's ability to manifest and be able to control a spectral smoke, though Blair's is notable a ghastly neon green.
