She is obsessed with the perfection of machinery, forever seeking out subjects to “improve” and “perfect”. She’s even replaced parts of herself, with much of what lies beneath her scales consisting of wire and synthetics rather than flesh. She’s undoubtedly a genius in her own right, however her research is not formally acknowledged by most, given that some of it could be deemed slightly unethical. She preys on those who have suffered grievous injuries, and promises to restore what’s been lost, which is not technically a lie. She does indeed construct lost organs and body parts, but the problem lies in the fact that she often doesn’t stop there. One may not recognize themselves after being subjected to her care.
