Faerie Dragons
For several hundred years, the Dragons of the Faerie have remained hidden from the eyes of the world. The last time they roamed the earth, humans were plentiful and ever determined to claim the dragons' bones, scales, and most of all-- their magick. To protect their clans, the ancestors of the Seelie and Unseelie opened a door to hide and protect them from danger. Centuries later, the kingdom heirs, named for their Courts, met in a small meadow. Neither moved as they stood, frozen upon eyes meeting. Their forbidden affections spurred their actions, allowing them to free their clans and allow them, once again, to walk under the sun.
The Seelie possess an unnatural beauty and a keen mind to match. The Unseelie are strong warriors and skilled tacticians. The Solitary-- the Skydancers-- have cold personalities and tend, more often than not, to be mages or sorcerers. They rarely mate outside their own kind, but those that do tend to have higher ranks. Those of lower stature tend to be killed for insubordination.
The seasons play a part in their personalities. The Spring and Autumn Courts are kinder, more playful, and most willing to help. Whereas the Summer and Winter Courts are harsher, more critical and most likely to kill you.
Halflings are outcast more often than not, as the parents have committed a grave taboo. They tend to reflect both parents in some form. They may be different, but they are strong-willed and intelligent. Their personalities tend to waver between the Courts their parents hail from.
