2023 Commission TOS

Payment

1. All commissions and prices are in USD.
2. All payments will go through Kofi donations. See here for more details if you are unfamiliar with Kofi! (This is because I do not have Paypal, my apologies for any inconvenience.)
3. All payments under $50 are upfront. If a commission costs more than $50, half is due before I begin rendering (after you confirm a sketch), the rest must be sent to receive the finished piece.
4. I do not offer refunds unless I am physically unable to complete a commission. I do not anticipate this occurring!

Process

1. I reserve the right to deny any commission I feel unable or unwilling to complete.
2. I will only work from visual character references + provided order forms. Adding additional character descriptions/moodboards/lore/etc is great, but not required. Written descriptions are fine for scenes/backgrounds though.
3. Buyers will receive two (2) sketches to choose from for fullbody commissions or four (4) scene thumbnails to choose from for non-timed landscape pieces. Once approved, major changes to a piece are prohibited.
4. Additional WIPs can be provided upon request.
5. Turnaround will vary, but should not exceed two months and ideally will be within two-three weeks. You're welcome to ask about progress at any point.

Other

1. Personal use only! Do not use my art for NFTs or resale. If you purchase lineart from me, you may color it with permission, but you may not use it to create/sell/trade adopts.
2. Do not remove my signature from a completed piece.
3. You’re welcome to reupload commissioned art to sites other than FR, but please credit my FR account.
4. By commissioning me, you agree to these TOS.

• Cartoony anatomy: typical “furry/fursuit” designs, MLP, etc.
• Real-world ungulates (fantasy characters with hooves are probably fine)
• Fully robotic/”mech” characters, including animatronics
• Detailed full-body jewelry or lettering

I will NOT draw:

• Anything violating Flight Rising’s TOS (nudity, extreme gore, hateful imagery, religious iconography)
• Realistic horses and ponies
• Characters with a detailed human or human-equivalent face (humans/elves/fauns/centaurs/etc)
• Urban cityscapes and "birds-eye-views"

Quick Kofi Tutorial:

1. Please navigate to my Kofi page. Guest donations are enabled, so you do not need to make an account!
2. Select "Support Jouska" and enter in the cost of the commission (USD). Please don't send me anything until we've confirmed prices!
3. In "Your name or Nickname" please enter your Flight Rising Username. (If you don't want to or have a Kofi under a different name, please include your username in the message box.)
4. In the "Your message" box, please include the commission type you've ordered. (The letter-number is fine).
5. Provide card/payment info as requested. I will ONLY see the username you submit above and the email address you send, NOT your card/bank info or the legal name on your card!

Why Kofi?

I use Kofi because (1) I don't have PayPal, (2) it's easy to keep track of payments/send updates (if desired) and (3) it doesn't force customers to disclose personal information.
