NOTES:
- Please PM me about all payment, inquiries, and questions! :) Or for more examples of my work!
- Payment can be in gems or kt, but gems are preferred! 1g = 1kt, I hate math XD

He lived in a rural area, so it wasn’t unusual for him to run into deer, or foxes - or even bears - stumbling into his unfenced yard.
His father had always told him to stand still and ignore them; that they were more afraid of him than he of them.
And it had always worked. Even on the day that something more substantial than a rabbit or a disoriented skunk wandered too close to his home, he didn’t move from tending the garden. He froze up, like a deer under headlights.
The lights burned into his eyes, and for a moment, he knew exactly how deer felt before they were hit by a car.
He didn’t move, even when the lights burned out. Even when the doors opened, and something emerged from inside.
Still, he remained motionless, even when the creature approached him. He pretended not to see it - that he wasn’t scared.
He tried to look through it, and in doing so, he began to doubt that it was even there. That any of this was real - that helped to hold him still.
The being staring back at him, however, had never seen a bear or a skunk. It saw the deer in the headlights and wondered why he wasn’t running. Or screaming, or reacting.
Even when it touched him, with one strange limb, Homura remained perfectly still, trying his best not to react. Not to blink, not to cry out. Not to shake.
Then, the being scooped him up and took him with it, exactly like a kid stealing a rabbit out of the forest.

Quote:
It's not easy being able to shapeshift. Not for a human, not for a dragon, and especially not for a semi-sentient sock puppet.
If you feel arcane/cursed energy emanating from this puppet, then you have a keen sense of preservation. It would be wise to run.
Located: Under your bed, in your closet, in that random person's garage sale, locked away in a box that is never meant to be opened, and left to you in a will from some old relative that you have never met.
Last seen: Scuttling around Sarah's room in the bedroom scene of Jim Henson's Labyrinth

I can feel her watching me at night.
Infinite eyes, like thousands of unmoving civilizations. Birthing and brought to ashes in an instant, the death of eons in a blink. Infinity grows cold in the irises of an uncaring god.
They will NOT stop staring.

Quote:
He came out of the forest one day, and you swear that you've seen him before.
There's something unnerving about his eyes, as they follow you. And how quietly his form moves through the trees, his wings not even breaking the air in flight.
Suddenly you feel as though you can not hear anything at all. Nor see anything except his small, unassuming body, that almost fades into the forest when you stare at him. For a moment, you feel as though you can see through him.
Surely whoever raised this creature from an unhatched egg never intended for such a being to emerge. It is said that Light dragons carry an impossible charm to them - an inability to be ignored. But in this dragon, such a power is distorted, twisted beyond comprehension. You cannot look away, but he does not warm your heart. Instead he is the sun, and with every second that you watch, you can feel him boring into your soul.
But if you were to - somehow - find the power to look away, would he even be there when you turned back?

Deep, deep in the forest, a Clan of Fae live among the fairies.
They say that the fairies never speak, but communicate through the darkside of dreams. Through half conscious thoughts, uncharacteristic fright - through half heard whispers in the wind. They speak from the other side, in ways that every dragon can hear, but that few are able to recognize.
This Clan of Fae never leaves their sanctuary. They eat only butterflies that feed on the same nectar as their fairy companions - and, to the belief of some, their fairy cousins.
The Clan is ruled by the Fairie King and the Fairie Queen, and their word is law.
His name is the Fairie Knight. That is the name that he gave to the Clan, when he arrived, laden with plants, and well supplied with silence. He may have been a Fairie Knight once, but to see a Fae of his lineage out of the hidden forest. . .
Only a dire event could lead to such an exile.

Follow, Greet, Wait and Repeat
Life round repeat repeat
The halls are decaying, bleeding flesh to the touch
Red hot, skin warm
Mechanical plates slide against the sides
Part of flesh, Adhered to scales
Green Eyes pierce from behind
You will become bones as the hall is scoured
Up, down, repeat, repeat
Sword in hand
Nightmare of repetition
(And there is blood)

You hear an uncomfortable whispering in the wind
- or is it in the back of your mind? Nagging and prodding at your thoughts
"Hello there", it says, getting evermore persistent.
"Great night for a stroll."
"Have you ever seen the inside of somebody's mind? All the thoughts and terrors that they try to hide."
"I've lived through a thousand memories and a thousand lifetimes"
"There isn't anything we desire that we cannot sink our claws into. Nothing can't be bought, nothing can't be stolen."
"Perhaps we shouldn't be so forgiving to those who've wronged us."
"I don't believe an introduction is necessary."
"We've met before, haven't we."
"You need to stop worrying about that embarrassing moment in second grade."
"Great night for a scroll, there isn't any wind."
"Your mind is the same color as your eyes, but a shade less alive. We aren't our minds, after all. We keep our souls in our eyes."
"My name isn't important."
"We have met before."
"I can help make you better."
Can it, though? From empty promises to grandiose lies, the voice offers a lot through honey inflections. Deep and cool like the bottom of a well.
But there's a very off putting nature about talking to a voice in your head, so maybe you shouldn't fall for it.
The misshapen shadow in your room crawls across your ceiling and out the window.
He finds it a little rude that you wouldn't even shake his hand.

Warrior is looking for a friend. Unfortunately, he isn't the most conventional dragon
He and his sentient plant friend crawled out of the woods one morning when Soil was gathering insects with his moth, scaring both of them half to death.
His Clan, he explained, was Plague. Soil interjected that he was very accepting of other elements.
"No," Warrior said. "I mean that we /have/ the Plague, lots of it."
Soil responded to this by taking three steps backward.
"I'm searching for a cure," Warrior replied.
"That's a very noble quest," Soil said in return. "Are you the only dragon left?"
"Noble, what?" Warrior replied, a shocked voice emanating from under his hood. "It's a quest of shame! For I am the only member of the All Seeing Eye who was not given to the Plague Bringer when our Clan was gifted. Although I tried and tried, no sickness would befall me! So I have come out here in order to seek a cure for the wrongs in my soul, so that I may join my clan-mates with the great Plague Bringer."
"Ah," said Soil.
"I am a shameful dragon," Warrior moaned from under the hood. "A shame to my family."
"Did they send you out here?" Soil asked, feeling sorry for the. . . strange. . . dragon.
"Oh no," Warrior replied, brightly. "They're all dead! I'm so jealous."
"Oh," Soil said, shifting from two legs to the other. "Well I have to go now. I have a group of friends, though, if you would care to accompany me to my Clan."
"You would dare take in an outcast such as myself?" Warrior gasped, eyes shining. "Even though I am cursed?"
"We'll take our chances," Soil replied.
He just hoped that the normalcy of his Clan would cure the Coatl of his death wish, but had serious doubts that anything could.
*
Warrior and his strange plant are never seen without their hoods - whenever he speaks of his old home, it is with reverence and excitement. He is friendly and easily makes friends, however everyone keeps him far away from any dragons who happen to be sick.
Whenever that strange Wildclaw - Law - would sidle up to him, nervously offering a cup of tea that would cure his curse, the other dragons tripped over themselves to knock it out of his hands. Then Law would scatter into the bushes and he would never get to taste the teas that he was given.
Maybe one day, he thought. One day I will be rid of this horrible curse.
