[b]tl;dr[/b] is he's a bleeding heart that was born into an unsavory situation with unsavory company and often ended up shouldering the blame for everything himself because he didn't know anything else. in his canon he's actually a ghost and is just starting to tackle his trauma and begin the healing process, so that's why I'm opting for the upright Hanged Man ;o;
As far as designs go, the standard card pose / expression is fine! I do typically draw him with a sharper / more defined snoot though, and common Light eyes instead of Ice
