I think the base for porcupine looks great! Perhaps adding the secondary color stripes on the porcupine spines would look nice when getting to coloring? ( On sanguine for my gorl its very subtle but on colors like black the stripes are more visible)
But i digress, the actual base looks cute and makes me think of fleece tassels!

I'm still doing the colors for the porcupine base, right now it's just a placeholder to differentiate the tassels so I can shade more easily. Should the forehead spikes have more tassels like the tail does or should it stay simple like this?
I also did the sugarplum template with the gradient - let me know if you want anything fixed on it c:
