A young Mirror suddenly barrels into you, making you drop your bundle of lavender all over the hall. "Sorry!" She squeaks, grinning sheepishly. With a rough cough, not unlike that of a raven, she attempts to reset the introduction. "Hiya! The name's Rainbowkitten," the Mirror says, stretching out a claw for you to shake. You firmly grab it, careful to avoid the pointer bits- they appear to have been kept in good condition from battling frequently.

The dragonette's white wings ruffle as she settles down in front of you. "You've met my parents, right? Moonshadow and Fossil?" You nod. "They're the leaders- or at least, Moonshadow is, officially. I'm basically a princess!" Rainbowkitten beams at you with a toothy grin. "I serve the great Shadow Flight by driving back the Beastclan hordes and having children to provide Lady Shadowbinder with young exalts. And I'm proud of each and every one of them!" Rainbowkitten salutes the air, then continiues. "Mom and Dad are very proud of me- at least, I think they are. Did they mention me to you?"

You shake your head apprihensively. "Damn it! I can forgive Mom for being forgetful, at least- she's a little off- but Dad? Fossil? He always seems so happy when I tell him about everything I've done. Sometimes I wonder if I'm doing the right thing, but-" Rainbowkitten suddenly stops mid-sentence. "Nevermind! Erm... Did you know that Moonshadow is rumored to be an oracle of the Shadowbinder? I really hope it's true. Then I'd be even cooler!" Looking back at the matriarch's odd behavior, you wonder if there is some truth to what she says- you've heard oracles can be strange folk.

Suddenly, a Grey River Flight scurries up to the Mirror in front of you, who begins to pet its thick coat. "This is Lord Poofywhiskers. He's my familiar. Mom says a familiar is the best friend you can have- she's been with her Buttersnake since her days as a loner. Dad used to have a Longneck friend, but he was probably a traitor! Now he has a special Shadow familiar."

Rainbowkitten carefully gathers the scattered stems from the ground and returns them to your claws. "Gotta go now! I heard there's a troop of Serthis attacking the local regiment of exaltees, so they might need backup. Just don't tell Bloodbath- he's kind of a Serthis fanatic. It's pretty weird; it's not like they're his Charge or anything. Well, bye-bye! Don't... uh... Forget your Calcium, or whatever Mom would say..." The dragon tapers off as she darts back out of the lair. Alone again, you press on.
