Spring

Since she first breached the Sea's surface, Spring has been enchanted by the sensation of flight. While she appreciated having a comforting seaside home in Sunbeam Grotto, Spring was eager to push the boundaries of the world outside. She became the clan's first explorer, a dauntless climber of peaks and charter of lands beyond the Grotto.

After the clan awakened to a world indistinguishable from the one they left, Spring shared the confused grief of her clanmates. Her daze wore off, though, as travelers from outside the clan's boundaries began to filter in. Their words introduced Spring's imagination to new, sprawling territories in lands beyond. Ever eager, Spring has begun her exploration journey yet again, fueled by a pure curiosity and desire to soar.


Mudpuppy asked his sister far in advance if she'd be willing to partake in a family reunion for all his many descendants. Apparently, as he said, she had the tendency of flying off who-knows-where with no notice, and he felt the need to book her ahead of time to make sure she'd attend the event. Spring agreed, though she was a little put off by his clearly exaggerated assessment...

Her bad mood quickly wore off, though, as was natural for the flighty Spring. Soon the day arrived, and with it more guests than Sunbeam Grotto had seen in ages! It was exciting - exhausting - exhilarating - for Spring to flit back and forth along the beach, greeting familiar strangers, enjoying food from all across the land, and seeing her home burst with life in a way she had never expected! As soon as the reunion ended, Spring began making more travel plans of her own - maybe, she thought, she'd fly to visit some of her distant relatives in the clans they spoke of so highly.
