Biography
The far more welcoming gaze of Zagreus lands on all who step within the Barbvine Clans boundaries. Taking over his fathers penchant for showmanship, but his mothers semi-welcoming nature, Zagreus considers himself as more of an ambassador, than anything else. Step inside The Laughing Thorn, the travelling taverna that the Barbvine runs, and know that Zagreus will keep you entertained-- and plenty talkative.
Quote:
"I wish you would reconsider your career, my boy."
Zagreus rolls his eyes at the beginning of his fathers latest attempt at dissuading him from his talents. He shuffles the Homer out of the way. The rooster lets out a half-crow, half-purr as he bimbles away, Thistle watching him with a hungry look.
"You are worth so much more than... whatever this is." The mirror lets the words linger in the air, and Zagreus sighs again.
"This is what I am good at, father. Is it not a good idea to ply information from our fellow Plaguelings? Is it not genius to lull our enemies into drunken sleep?"
"It is, but--"
"Then stop telling me not to do it!" Zagreus snaps, hissing at his father. Thistle falls silent, expression unreadable. Homer the rooster pecks at Zagreus' suit jacket, and its owner pulls it away, staring at his father. Thistle clicks his tongue, conceding defeat, for now.
"Well. Do it well then."
