Biography

Leader of the Barbvine Clan, Thistle doesn't really like to be exchanging pleasantries with the commonfolk. This is to hide the fact that he IS one of the common folk. He simply uses an amazingly stylish hat and cape to hide this fact. Despite this, he is immensely proud of his now rather large clan, although most of them he doesn't really get on with.

Mates with Bayside, although their relationship can be defined as 'open'. Let's just say that all of the very red hatchlings running around can trace their lineage to Ruby, the priestess, rather than Bayside.
Quote:
A red scaled mirror scents the air, tasting what he can of his surroundings. There is prey here, that much he is sure of, and the bleached white of the roots and bones around him are as good a sign as any that this would be a good place to set up a nest.
Thistle, or Lord Thistle, as he would eventually come to insist, knows then that this spot, this one small area, would become his manor. His domain. The perfect start to a tale of epic proportions that he would insist he was the protagonist of.

And then, then the Plaguemother would reward him, as she did to all her faithful. The growth of the clan had stagnated, surely, but they had direction now. Once again, after eight? Was it nine? Some unseemly number of years, he had direction, something to follow, a shiver in his spine and a need to see his clan as a worthy part of the Plaguemothers swarm. He smiles, indulgently, to himself, at the thought of being someone of note, and sets forth.
